I have had the best experience. Dr. Ghatnekar and Mina have taken the best care of me. They got me in within hours of my call. After, not going to the dentist for too many years, I was terrified but they have done everything they can to help my teeth while making me feel comfortable. They walk me through what they are doing so I'm informed and consistently check that I'm doing okay and not in pain. They really have given me the best level of care and I can't imagine going anywhere else. Completely recommend if you are looking for the best dental care.

I am in the process of having an implant. Everything was fully explained to me. Dr. Ghatnekar was patient and reassuring with me. I feel confident in my decision to have my implant performed by Irvine Family & Implant Dentistry.

My experience with Dr. Ghatnekar was terrific! I had a terrible experience with a dentist in the past and I had avoided going to the dentist for many years. Dr. Ghatnekar made me feel comfortable and has slowly gone one step at a time to bring my teeth back to being completely healthy!

Sadly, my previous post has been moved, to the website of a different dentist - one that I have never met... So I will try it again, and just to be clear, MY dentist is Dr. Jeevan Ghatnekar, on Osborn in Irvine. Our family has used this dental office since the day Dr. Ghatnekar moved his practice to Irvine. We have referred family and friends, and we ALL agree that Dr. Ghatnekar deserves even MORE than 5 stars! The office is extremely clean, he and his staff are skilled and well trained in the latest technology. The staff is organized, warm and encouraging, and so prompt in handling every detail from scheduling to insurance claims to follow up calls whenever I have questions about anything relating to my care. This summer Dr. Ghatnekar did extensive work on my teeth (extractions and implants) and then placed a beautiful bridge, which he personally designed using cutting edge technology in conjunction with a high quality lab. If you are nervous about having ANY kind of dental work done, THIS is the dentist that you need to see! I gave him 5 stars every step of the way!

Fixed my me son's over bite from 8mm to 2mm , straightened his front teeth, and now they are perfect! Best Dentist for your braces, cleaning, or any dental procedures! Would highly recommend!!!

Great experience compared to a lot of dentists I've been to in the past. Dr. Ghatnekar, Tamara, and Mina were all very nice to me and my family. During treatment, I didn't feel too much pain or discomfort.

He is a best emergency dentist. My crown falls and I'm from houston. So I found him and he did an amazing job on mu crown. Highly recommended, plus he is very experienced dentist in Irvine CA. His stuff is also very knowledgeable and I was out within 30 min.

I have been Dr. Ghatnekar's dental assistant for six years since I moved to CA. He did cosmetic restorations for my entire mouth. I get compliments all the time and I'm completely satisfied with my employers dental work. I confidently recommend him to everybody because I see his work and how he treats his patients. He cares about each patient and spends as much as time they need to talk and make sure they understand their treatment. Tamara and I both, as his employees, have received excellent dental care from Dr. Ghatnekar.

Such a great experience getting my implant! Friends, at the beginning of the process I was very worried about what I may have to endure to regain my perfect smile. Now that the process is complete, I can say with complete confidence that if you are in need of an implant, don't walk but run to Dr.G's office. It was a smooth experience from start to finish!

When I learned that a broken tooth could not be saved I was very sad but was told an implant was the next step. I am so glad I explored different dentists' approaches to this procedure and then went with Dr. Ghatnekar. He never pressured me to make a decision but won me over by very patiently conveying every detail I needed to know to instill confidence in his approach. In making the decision to go with him, I now have a new, solid tooth in half the time others told me! The whole experience was very positive and his entire team, from the friendly receptionist to his knowledgeable assistant, made all my visits a very welcoming and reassuring experience.

This is easily the best dentist in Irvine. I've been going to him for nearly ten years now and that should say enough. That said; excellent treatment by all the staff, exemplary commitment to patients, and an attention to detail that makes sure you go home feeling better. Excellent dentist, I'll always recommend being treated here.

Dont trust the 5 star reviews. They offered me a (starbucks?) gift card on my way out if I would give them a good review. In 2019 I was new to the area and went in as a new patient seen by Dr. Jeevan Ghatnekar. He proceeded to tell me I had 8 cavities that needed filling. I've only ever had 2 in my entire life and see the dentist every 6 months. I was shocked and thought I must be suddenly calcium deficient or otherwise ill.. I was quoted for $1800 ($800 after insurance) to have the work done. After finishing roughly half the work, I decided to get the rest filled by my longtime dentist back in my hometown as I was there for winter break. My trusted dentist let me know it was all BS and I didn't require any work and to go find a new dentist. I've since found another reputable dentist in the Irvine area with 200+ reviews. Not once have they mentioned the apparent plethora of cavities that Dr. Ghatnekar said I needed filled. The people working there seem extraordinarily nice, but I have a very tough time reconciling their great bedside manner while simultaneously feeling like I've been taken advantaged of after getting a second and third opinion on their work. Looking on yelp, it appears I'm not the only one this has happened to.

Dr. Jeevan Ghatnekar is the best. The service is wonderful with a friendly staff. Had an implant done, didn't hurt and he took the time to call after hours to see how I was doing. Thank you!
