Our staff has humbly requested not to participate in a glamour photo shoot to be included on our website or newsletter. I accepted the request, and will brag on the beauty that is our personnel anyway. I am gifted indeed to share our service with folks who share a vision. For all we do, our guiding value is: 'Be the Best Place to work and the Best Place to come as a patient.'

Barbara hassupported our practice since 1986. As you encounter Barb over the phone, at the front desk or in the clinical zone, you will quickly recognize the ease she lends to your visit, and the heart she brings to ensure your comfort and understanding. Barb 'has my back', and yours; nary a decision goes by that she hasn 't considered all angles and perspectives, keeping our rudder on course.

Debhas been on board since 1990. Deb has been our engine room, supplying a vast reserve of energy in a now mostly-behind-the-scenes role as safety net and project manager. Deb lends a softness and steely strength to the volumes of administrative services that keep your records flowing with the tide, rather than against it.

Jeanisthe voice and face of our practice and has been since 2004. In the astounding way that is Jean 's way in life, nothing escapes her vigilance to holding our direction and pace. Jean brings an appreciation of economics, sure. However, her 'antennae' for many voices and many choices coupled with a radar quality of information gathering and sharing has provided a bottomless reserve for tracking and pointing the practice towards our goals. Jean is our GPS with a conscience and heart-borne integrity.

Started seeing the Drs. Drewyer when my previous dentist retired. My son is also a patient. So far, so good! My care has been routine with just normal cleanings done by the highly competent Christy. My son, OTH, has already had to have two crowns with root canals. Ouch!!!! But everything went well. It's my turn now. I have some pretty mature fillings and crowns, and have been advised to replace two of them before they are compromised. I feel so confident in the staff that I plan to move forward with my treatment plan by year's end. My experience, thus far, with Drewyer Dentistry has been top-notch. They provide thorough explanations for any process being undertaken or recommended, and they take the time to answer all of your questions.

Where to begin...I have been seeing Dr. Doug since I was 6 years old maybe 5? Dr. Doug would to blow his gloves up as balloons for me to take home as a present. I am now 28 and travel from Virginia to come see him. I refuse to go anywhere else for anything dental related. My family, who are still in Maryland, see him as well. Super welcoming staff, who take the time to speak to you, and make you feel important. They know you by name when you call to schedule an appt, and when you walk in the door. Dr. Doug is wonderful! He takes the time to explain everything he is doing, which gives you that exta comfort some may need/ appreciate. He genuinely wants you to understand what he is doing, and how you can ake care of your teeth outside of the office. I cannot recommend enough!

I had a terrible experience with Dr Drewyer recently. He came into the room for the dental check while the Hygienist had not finished. During his exam, I mentioned some soreness near the wisdom tooth. Dr. Drewyer said I need to reach deep with brushing in that area. He put his finger (gloved) in my mouth and asked me to bite it, he then reached up to the jaw and said that he can now touch my jaw with his hand. Apparently, he was trying to tell me how to relax to reach deeper with the toothbrush. He then spoke with me (while masked) for about a minute while extremely close to my face. All of this behavior while we are in a pandemic. I did not say anything, but I find it shocking. I plan to file a complaint with Md. dental examiners' board. I found this extremely inappropriate and unsafe especially during the pandemic. The only reason I had gone to his practice is because I had followed an excellent Hygienist from Dr. Egan's office after he had retired. I give this Hygienist 5-stars.

My original dentist of 15 years sold his practice to Dr. Drewyer. I went today to have a routine checkup and cleaning. After taking xrays, the hygienist said i had a lot of tarter build up and would need 4 deep cleanings and she could not do a regular cleaning on me. I told her i could not do the deep cleanings until next year when additional monies would be added to my FLEX account so please do a regular cleaning for now. She said she couldn't and then had Dr. Drewyer come in. He was more ridiculous than she was. Here is is trying to tell me why he can't do a regular cleaning and then said it would be considered malpractice!! Honestly!!?? My blood pressure went sky high and I walked out! He is all about making money - you can tell by his office. Will never go back to him.

About 3 years ago my wife and I started going to Drewyer Dentistry. And, for many reasons, I am glad we did. During my first dental exam Dr. Doug, suggested that I should consider getting tested for sleep apnea. That was the first time that anyone had made that suggestion. But I am glad he did. After being tested and treated (CPAP) for sleep apnea Dr. Doug's suggestion has been what I would consider a "life changer". Most noticeably my sleep "quality" and "quantity" is considerably better, lots more energy to do things that I enjoy doing that ultimately impact my "quality" of life", no longer feel tired during the day, no longer snore, or "grind" my teeth. Thank you Dr. Doug! Everyone at Drewyer Dentistry is very responsive to the dental needs of its patients. At every visit Dr. Doug, Dr. Austin, or, depending on the question, one of their support Staff (Robin, Stacy, Barbara, or Jean), take the time to fully answer questions. Neither myself, or my wife, ever feel "rushed", and always feel that we are in "good hands". We have found everyone at Drewyer Dentistry to be good listeners, take the time to "communicate" (both equally important to us), easy to talk to, "professional", "competent", "knowledgeable", helpful, caring, warm, courteous and friendly. Words we often hear from them are, " we are here for you", and, based on our past visits, they mean it. My wife and I are very glad that we now go to Drewyer Dentistry for all our dental needs.

The Drewyer Dentist family is wonderful. Extremely professional and amazing dentists. I was reading the feedback with Fatima and I am sure a misunderstanding, emergency or an error has occurred. I have recommend Douglas and Austin Drew to family and friends. Also if you review the other feedback Dr. Dewyer's Dentistry has consistently receives 5 star's. I just felt passion about the comments seems to be related to insurance and not the skills of the dentist.

If I could give negative stars I would! This was a complete waste of my time and the office is extremely unprofessional. I waited for almost an hour to get my insurance verified and this was the point of me providing this information prior to the appointment. Don't bother wasting your time with this place.

I highly recommend Dr.Douglas Drewyer for both simple and complex dental treatment. Sadly, going to the dentist is not one of my favorite activities because I inherited horrible teeth. ( Many vacations are in my mouth!) I am really pleased with Dr. Drewyer's care, as is my husband. He is thorough, treats the "whole" person, takes his time and has a very caring and competent staff. I honestly wish that I had known about this practice years ago!

I have been going to the Drewyer's for almost 30 years and couldn't recommend their care and service more. In a world of cost cutting and short cuts, they time and again prove that their number one priority is to provide a high level of care with top notch technology, equipment and service. The thing I value most about my experience is that every visit consists of learning moments. Austin (and before Doug) are not just cleaning and sending me on my way, they are teaching about how to better care for your teeth and body. To me, this translates to a higher likelihood of long term care. Finally, I've seen the same faces behind the counter for all my life. Employees who stick around for 30+ years have to feel valued and respected which proves to me that the reason I, as a customer, am treated so well by them is because they are treated so well by Austin, Doug and the rest of the team. You're always met with a smile, great conversation and, most importantly, the highest level of care in the industry. For all the horror stories I hear of people going to a dentist that have old equipment or rush you in and out, it feels great to know I can always count on the Drewyers to be continuously providing the highest quality equipment and dental care in the industry.

I have been to 7 dentists in my life. Dr. Drewyer's office is by far the best care I have received, great manners. Very easygoing and family atmosphere. I bring my 2 year old son here as well and they show him patience and respect. This will be the best choice you will ever make when it comes to your teeth.

As a former dental assistant I know good care and office operations when I experience them. I started as a client with Dr. Doug about 15 years ago, and now have the pleasure of working with Dr. Austin. Both are very knowledgeable, caring, competent, and have great people skills. I know they're looking out for my dental and physical well-being, and they always take the time to thoroughly explain any next steps that are being recommended. Their office staff members are also very efficient and friendly. While I've customarily been comfortable going to a good dentist, I was always afraid to get a numbing shot at the front of my mouth. Dr. Doug helped me get beyond that fear because of the gentle, caring way he administers the shot. This is a huge plus! I highly recommend this practice!

Hands down the greatest dental experience of my life! A late Sunday night dental emergency was quickly fixed when Dr. Austin Drewyer came in first thing Monday morning to repair my chipped tooth before I had to head out of town for an important work meeting. I have never been to a more welcoming and clean dental office. I hate going to the dentist and as soon as I walked through the door my nerves were at ease. Dr. Austin was very thorough in communicating every step of my tooth repair and made me feel very comfortable as a first time patient. I will certainly be back for future cleanings!

If I could give this office more than five stars I would. I had my veneers done by Dr. Austin and his dental assistant, Stacy, and you can tell immediately they truly care about their patients. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The front office is great as well. They are super friendly and efficient in what they do. Love that this is a family business too! Hands down the best dentists in the area!

I have had a lot of not great dental experiences and get anxious and claustrophobic during most dental work. Both Dr Austin and Dr Doug are great. They work with me, as the patient, to be sure I'm as comfortable as possible and that I have as much control as possible in the experience. Wait times in office are almost non-existent (I've never waited more than 5 minutes past my appointment time). The dentists do a lot of the cleanings themselves, rather than delegating to technicians or assistants. They are committed to educating their patients and making them collaborators in care rare than patient-as-object. The staff are friendly and courteous. While they submit invoice copies to most insurance, the patient will need to pay up front and be reimbursed by insurance later.
