Dr. Shulman offers sedation dentistry and is a member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS). He has committed over 125 hours to training and certification in conscious sedation for the benefit of your patient experience and safety. We want all patients to be able to achieve their oral health and aesthetic goals in a stress-free, relaxing environment.

Drew A. Shulman, DMD, MAGD has been in practice for over 30 years. He is a caring cosmetic dentist that is committed to providing his patients with the latest advances in aesthetic dental care. Continuing education in the latest techniques and technologies is very important to him. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support as well as IV Sedation by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.
Dr. Shulman has been awarded a Mastership from the Academy of General Dentistry. Mastership is the highest award given by the Academy and has been given to less than 2% of the dentists in the nation. The State of Pennsylvania requires dentists to take 15 hours of continuing education per year.
Dr. Shulman has been chosen by his fellow dentists to be one of the Best Cosmetic Dentists in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. To achieve this, he was voted by his peers. Philadelphia Magazine sends out ballots to over 4000 dentists in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties asking them to choose the best dentists in a number of different categories.
Dr. Shulman was also voted top dentist in 2019 by the readers of Suburban Life Magazine and Best Dentist by TV Station PHL17. Patients have also voted him a multi-year winner as the #1 Cosmetic Dentist by Philly HOTLIST.
Dr. Shulman graduated from Muhlenberg College where he received a degree in Natural Science and Mathematics. After college, he earned a Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry. Following dental school, he gained further training in a General Practice Residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident.
When he is not working, Dr. Shulman likes to ski, bike, play golf and spend time with his family. He is married and has 2 sons that live in Boston. His oldest son and his wife recently gave birth to a baby girl.
Jessica started her journey in the dental field in 2005 as a dental assistant working directly with the doctor. In 2010 she became a scheduling coordinator, using her knowledge of dental procedures to help educate patients. She has been working with Dr. Shulman since 2015.
Jessica enjoys speaking to patients over the phone to help them feel comfortable and assuring them that they picked the right dental office for their needs. In her free time she likes spending time with her son as well as her niece and nephews. She also enjoys making greeting cards, quilting and painting.
Wendy has been in the dental field for 25 years. She has worked as a treatment coordinator for Dr. Shulman since 2016. Wendy enjoys working with patients, arranging all aspects of their financial and dental needs. As an insurance and billing specialist, she helps patients to maximize their dental benefits, enabling them to achieve long term dental health and beautiful smiles.
Ruth is an Expanded Function Dental Assistant and has worked with Dr. Shulman since 1988. Always aspiring to keep up with the latest technology, she takes many continuing education courses with Dr. Shulman. She is also fluent in Spanish.
Ruth is very excited to be part of a team that works toward fulfilling a patients goals of enhancing and perfecting their smiles. Outside of work Ruth enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and going to the movies.
Chrissy is a dental assistant and has been in the dental field for 25 years. She prepares the treatment rooms for Dr. Shulman and assists him during most procedures. She really enjoys talking with patients, helping them relax and feel comfortable in our dental office. She lives close enough to walk to the office and enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Jennifer is a registered dental hygienist who has been in the dental field since 1985. She has always been enthusiastic about dentistry and knowledgeable in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease. She loves her profession with a passion and truly enjoys educating her patients as individuals.
She takes great pride in seeing the improvement in their dental and overall health while under her care. Jennifer is a great organizer. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and Airedale Terriers.

I hate going to the dentist office; but I love Dr. Shulman and his staff. Everyone on staff is kind, caring and comforting and put your nerves at ease. Dr. Shulman truly cares about his patients and their well being.

Dr. Shulman and his fabulous team were so incredibly helpful and kind. I went to them with intense jaw pain, so Dr. Shulman took a look at it and recommended me a night guard. The fitting process was easy as they had a wand that scanned my teeth. The guard fit very well and within a few days the painful cracking of my jaw was greatly reduced! I appreciate all their hard work and recommend them to everybody! Thank you, Dr. Shulman!

I am very dental phobic, but Dr Shulman is very patient and it is evident that his primary concern is his client. In the process of having mini posts inserted for my bottom denture and he has been very professional but also personable and gentle! Also, excellent support staff all the way around. Good choice for you!!

Dr. Shulman is amazing! He pulled all four of my wisdom teeth with local anesthesia. He was very helpful and called to check that I was healing well. One of my wisdom teeth started to curve creating a hook and he was able to pull all in one piece! Truly great and thorough dentist. You will not be disappointed.

I truly mean it when I say that Dr. Shulman is the best dentist I have ever had. He really listens and helps you find the best options for your needs. He doesn't pressure you to do unnecessary work which makes me feel confident that he has my best interest in mind. I also love the hygienists and dental assistants, they're so friendly and help me feel extra welcome and comfortable. Last, but certainly not least, the women at the front desk are seriously top notch, they advocated hard on my behalf when it came to my difficult insurance company. Thanks for everything

I am a new patient and this is the best dental office experience I've ever got in my lifetime. The staff is so professional and courteous. They treated me like a long lost/time family member. From my initial contact upon my arrival to the end of my visit I felt very welcomed. Their hospitality was so good. I give them the dental office award of the year. Kudos to the staff every single one from the front desk person-Jenna, the dental hygienist- Elizabeth, the doctor himself and the cleaning lady. This is definitely my new dental home from now on until I retire. Keep up the good job people. You're a force to be reckoned with. Thank you all for making me feel so welcomed and thanks for all the dental advice and recommendations too Elizabeth.

Dr. Shulman is the best dentist around. He does excellent work in a very clean and friendly environment ! He took away all of my fears and made my experience very pleasant. The office staff is wonderful as well. You can't go wrong with Dr. Drew Shulman ! Highly recommend !

I am the worst dental patient but am very comfortable and trusting of Dr. Drew Shulman. He is patient and understanding. He explains all options. He is the best dentist I have had in my 40+ years have receiving dental services. I will not change dentists after receiving dental services from him. Additionally, his staff is super sweet and gentle. Even scheduling appointments and billing has been a breeze. I truly appreciate the service I receive from this practice!

Dr. Shulman and his staff are professional, knowledgeable and personable. The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. Overall, a very good experience. Dr. Shulman and his staff take the time and care to ensure that the patient understands their options in order to make an educated decision. the staff is so personal which is very rare today. Dr. Shulman is great. He is very knowledgeable and explains things to you and insures you have a good understanding. Dr Shulman was awesome. He explained everything thoroughly before doing anything to the tooth...it was pain free, even the needle. The office staff was very professional and curteous and answered all questions. The office was very COVID prepared and followed all the protocol that is emphasized. I highly recommend Dr Shulman if you are looking for a good dentist who genuinely cares about his patients.

Such an amazing experience!! Receptionist, hygienists and doctor Shulman were all so welcoming from when I walked in, to when I left. Dr Shulman took his time talking to me about what I wanted and I felt so comfortable talking to him. You can tell he really cared to give you the results you wanted. I loved it here.

I hadn't been to the dentist in over 12 years because of my irrational dental phobia. I had a mouthful of trouble and a mind full of anxiety. Dr. Schulman and his staff welcomed me into the practice, alleviated my fears and spoke to me in a professional and kindly manner. After many tears (yes, I did cry) I had my tooth pulled and Dr. Schulman set up an action plan for the rest of my issues. He is a magician. By the time I calm down during my visits, he is finished with the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Schulman and "the girls." They are simply the best!
