Summer Xia D.D.S is an expert in periodontology and in the art of cosmetic dentistry focusing on providing the highest quality dental treatment including; dental implants, implant supported fixed/removable dentures, gum grafts, veneers, clear braces, root canals, and a wide array of additional dental procedures.
Dr. Summer's passion for learning and dedication to service fueled her desire to pursue a career in dentistry from Peking University, one of the most prestigious dental schools in China.After graduating dental school at the top of her class, she accomplished her specialization in Periodontology in 2011 from Peking University. Since then, Dr. Summers diverse experiences have included, clinical research, teaching periodontology, practicing general dentistry and periodontics in private practice.
In pursuit of a new challenge, Dr. Summer Xia DDS decided to move to California and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of California San Francisco in 2016. She has received high honors in all of her accomplishments. Summer Xia D.D.S decided to continue improving the community with her talent in dentistry and together with Daniel Ramirez D.D.S formed Dream Dental in San Francisco, Parkside.

When Dr. Summer Xia is not volunteering her time, she enjoys spending time with her son, playing piano, hiking, and traveling the world.Her most recent adventurewas a month long trip to Western Europe where she traveled to over seven countries.
Daniel Ramirez D.D.S is an expert in the art of general dentistry, focusing on providing the highest quality dental treatment including; cleanings, fillings, crowns and a wide variety of additional dental procedures.
Dr. Daniel Ramirez was born and raised in San Diego, California. He is the oldest of three siblings.He attended the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), graduating with two Bachelors of Science degrees, Psychology and Biology. Throughout his education he was always recognized for his academic achievements, graduating from educational institutions with honors. After achieving one of his lifelong dreams of being accepted to University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), Dr. Ramirez moved to San Francisco, California. Earning his Doctor Dental Surgery, (D.D.S), from UCSF.While at UCSF, he was recognized for his linguistic abilities, philanthropic achievements, and service to patients with mental/physical disabilities.
Dr. Ramirez primary mission is delivering unforgettable dental experiences for patients from all walks of life. Dr. Ramirez accomplishes this by attentively listening to his patients needs and creates a customized treatment plan to fit the needs of each patient. His treatment philosophies prioritize patient comfort and experience basing all treatment decisions on evidence-based research.
Dr. Daniel Ramirez is passionate about serving the community and eliminating barriers to dental care. Toward that end, Dr. Daniel has positive contributed to public health causes by integrating in mobile dentistry and tele-health as a bi-lingual dentist to help those less fortunate.
He is licensed in state of California and currently is a member of American, CaliforniaDental association and San Francisco Dental Society. As a respected healthcare provider, Dr. Daniel Ramirez is committed to providing high quality, reliable, and sustainable care to all of his patients.
Besides dentistry,Dr. Ramirez prides himself on his musical abilities and he takes pleasure in cooking, deep sea diving, hiking, surfing, traveling, and volunteering in the community, but most of all, investing time with his wife and child!
Until now, dental professionals have had only two choices to treat early caries: use fluoride and other treatments to remineralize enamel in the very early stages - or 'wait and see' until it 's time to 'drill and fill.'

Doctor Summer saved me from an implant disaster that I had done in Mexico only 4 months prior. She is very accurate and honest in her assessments, but most of all she is a great dentist. The day of the implant removal was a breeze, even though was along seat, she did such an excellent delicate and painless job, from the way she anesthetized my mouth to the full implant removal, the experience was simply great. Thank you Doc Summer for being such a great dentist.

A dream indeed. I had trouble dealing with the transition in my dental policies and the Dream Dental staff happily helped me navigate through the issues with such quick correspondence! After I sorted through all that I had the pleasure of having Dr. Daniel Ramirez. The entire cleaning was painless and he was very kind and informative. Glad I stumbled upon this wonderful dental office!

Dr. Summer is my dentist since she was in UCSF. She is a very skillful surgeon and a very gentle and knowledgeable general dentist. When I am in her hands, I know all my needs will be met with the highest quality. She is super fast too, which is a plus for someone as phobic as me. Love the team and the office!
