Dr. Ross Drangsholt attended the University of Washington where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1988. He then continued on at the University of Washington School of Dentistry where he graduated first in his dental school class obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1992. He then joined his father and brother in general practice in Kent Washington for three years before returning to the University of Washington were he completed his orthodontic training and Masters Degree in Dentistry in 1997.
Dr. Drangsholt has always enjoyed giving back to his profession and has been on the faculty of the University of Washington Dental School since graduation. He currently teaches the orthodontic residents on Mondays and is a Affiliate Associate Professor. He is also Past President of the Pierce County Dental Society and of the University of Washington Dental Alumni Association. When not in the office, Dr. Drangsholt and his wife, Dr Beth OConnor, live in Lakewood and have3 children. He is also an avid triathlete and has been racing since 2004. He has competed in many different races and distances in the Northwest. He is a 16time Ironman finisher! Including Kona!!!

I enjoy helping Dr. Drangsholt and my teammates in creating our patients beautiful smiles. Most of the time, I can be found working chairside and assisting with band and wire changes, putting braces on and taking them off, and providing hygiene instructions.
I love exploring the mountains and the woods. Tacos are my favorite food. The 4th of July is my favorite holiday. I love to read books. My partner in crime is my boyfriend Justin and we share a house on a tiny little ranch in Puyallup. I have one younger brother named Derek. Shopping at Target is always a good idea. I love all music but country is my go-to favorite. Sitting around a campfire with good friends is my favorite past time. Summer is my favorite time of year because I love the sun but fall is the most beautiful time of year because I love the pretty colors of the trees.
