Dr. Donald Drake has been creating beautiful smiles since 1976. He is one of only 13% of all the orthodontists in the country that have achieved the status of Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Drake earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Loyola University School of Dentistry, graduating with honors. After graduation, he completed his residency in orthodontics at St. Louis University Medical Center where he received his M.S.D. degree, graduating first in his class. He was selected to 'Who 's Who in America.' He is also a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon and Blue Key, both of which are national honorary fraternities.
He and his wife, Celi, have lived for more than 40 years in Sioux Falls where they raised their two sons. Dr. Drake is an avid outdoorsman, and luckily he gets to enjoy spending time with his grandchildren skiing, hunting, fishing and golfing. He is an active member of the American Board of Orthodontics, American Association of Orthodontists, and many other orthodontic societies. Dr. Drake periodically gives lectures and furthers his education by attending seminars.
Dr. Cory Drake attended Creighton University for his undergraduate studies, and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Creighton University Dental School. He went on to complete his orthodontic residency at St. Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education, receiving a Masters in the Science of Dentistry. Dr. Cory is board eligible, having completed two of three phases required to become board certified.
Dr. Cory is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, South Dakota Dental Association, SEDDS, the Schulman Study Group and the Pitts Progressive Group. He gives back to the community by volunteering his time with the Give Kids a Smile program.
Dr. Cory and his wife, Jen have three children, two boys and one girl. Like his father, Dr. Cory enjoys being outdoors- hunting and golfing. His favorite summertime activity is being on the water and wake surfing with friends and family.During the winter, he enjoys snow skiing and coaching his boys basketball teams. He has offered to help with his daughter's cheer routine, but she has been less than impressed with his cheer moves to date.

Very inconvenient, they are only open 4 days a week and open at 9. I have a wire stabbing me 90% of the time.

We are new to the Sioux Falls area, so our records had to be transferred over for a final Invisalign scan. Before leaving my husband asked about getting his Invisalign stubs grinded down, but Dr. Drake (knowing it was a final scan) said he knew nothing about it. Another appointment was then needed to correct the miscommunication between orthodontists. Dr. Drake said he was doing us a favor and that he couldn't take us again for two weeks. He then proceeded to scold us in the waiting room in front of his entire staff and guests after explaining the situation to the receptionists.

Dr.Cory is the best, always happy to see my son, the Staff is very knowledgeable willing to go the extra mile to make sure we stay on track to get his braces off, If I could give them ten stars I would!!!!

I was set up on the Invisalign website to go here for my free consultation and they have been absolutely great from the start. I didn't know what to expect but knew that I wanted to straighten my teeth. At my consultation they walked me through all the options, examined me and explained benefit coverage and prices. I was extremely pleased with all the help I was given in making the final decision to do Invisalign. I have it now and have nothing but good things to say. Everyone is super professional and gives excellent service every time I come in for a check up. I am always informed with information I need and have been able to get great responses when I have questions!

They are horrible. My little sister who is only 10 has to get 9 teeth pulled I have to get 5 because they left my Herpts appliance on to long. My sister almost had to have surgery if we didn't go to another orthodontist. They don't explain good when there talking money

The doctors are amazing! some of the nurses and receptionist are rude and can be hard to accommodate with. I had lost my last Invisalign retainer and needed to get in soon as I live, work, and go to school in Brookings. They were not willing to work with my circumstances. The Dr. Cory heard about what was going and worked with me.

I had braces for over 5 years thanks to Drake. The first two years were utterly useless not to mention very expensive. We gave the DRs a deadline that the braces needed to be off by and they miss judged by over two years. and after I had to transfer orthodontists because i went off to college (yes I had braces in college thanks to them) they wouldn't refund the rest of the work we had already paid for. During treatment as well one of the DRs chipped a molar and said it would grow back...complete idiots. 0/10 would not recommend
