Dr. Alex Drake opened Drake Dentistry in July 2012. He had worked for local dentists, but he wanted to open his own business. He had a vision of what the perfect dental office would be, and he intended to fulfill that vision. His goal was to offer Oxford, NC and the surrounding areas the absolute best in dentistry, while providing a hometown feel and personal touch. Through his practice, he wanted to build strong relationships with people in the community seeking healthy, beautiful smiles.

Emergency visit for a toothache @7am. Staff is amazing, I was there less than an hour, can't say enough about the entire staff, they are amazing!!! I'm terrified of the dentist and they go above and beyond to insure I'm comfortable every time I go.

I had been going to the same dentist office for over 15 years but they recently had a change in ownership. I decided it was time for me to make a change as well. Some of my coworkers told me to give Drake Dentistry a try and I am so glad that I did! As someone who has anxiety about going to the dentist, they made me feel completely at ease from the moment I walked in the door. All of the staff that I have come into contact have been super nice and friendly. I highly recommend Drake Dentistry!

This was the best experience I have ever had at a dentist office. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. As someone who hates going to the dentist and is self-conscious (especially with my gums flaring up pregnancy hormones) I was impressed with the gentle assessment and kind manner they discussed my care plan. Based on my excellent experience, I will be switching my kids over to their care as well.

I've not completed my appointments with Dr, Drake yet, but have been there frequently enough to be able to say that I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Drake, and his super staff. They are all kind and efficient. Dr. Drake takes whatever time and effort is needed to provide a satisfying result.

My experience having Dare clean, polish and treat my teeth today was excellent! She was great a explaining each step in the process and checked periodically to be sure I was doing okay. She was very professional, yet also very personable and friendly. I felt totally comfortable in her car the whole time. I have had the same wonderful experience with all the other hygienists and assistants, as well as the dentists and other staff with whom I have come in contact here at Drake Dentistry! They're the Best!!
