At an early age, Dr. Zakar L. Elloway became familiar with dentistry often observing and assisting his father, Dr. Norman Elloway, in his Novato, CA dental practice. Dr. Elloway hails from a large dental family with 19 dentists to date.
Dr. Elloway attended Canadian Union College in Alberta, Canada. Following graduation, he continued into Loma Linda University School of Dentistry for his Doctor of Dental Surgery and then completed the graduate program in Implant Dentistry receiving a Certificate for Preceptorship. Dr. Elloway is licensed in both Arizona and California.
Dr. Elloway attends various continuing education courses every year to stay current on the latest techniques in dentistry. Many of these courses have been in the areas of implant placement and restoration. Dr. Elloway is a member of the American Dental Association, Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology, Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Arizona Dental Association, Northern Arizona Dental Society, California Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry.
I was born in Mexico and raised in Flagstaff, Arizona. I am a graduate of Flagstaff High school, after graduation I attended Aspen Dental School and became a certified dental assistant. I enjoy helping my patient achieve a better smile, Ive been told that I have one of those personalities that puts my patients at ease when they are in the chair. When I am not at work I enjoy playing soccer, watching football, hockey and being outdoors camping with my family and our dog Chopper.
Lori graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Her and her twin sister were military brats and moved around a lot. When she was in the 9th grade she knew she wanted to be a dental hygienist, because of her Ortho experience in the dental chair. She wanted to become a Hygienist to make peoples teeth clean and beautiful like hers. Because of this she was able to get a scholarship to college, so here she is. Lori is a compassionate, caring, loving and treats everyone as if she is in the chair. When she is not at work, she loves hiking the trails with her two sons.
