Dr. Ehrmantrout grew up in Olympia and graduated from Capital High School in 1996. He attended the University of Washington, and earned a magna cum laude degree in business in 2000. At the University of Washington, Dr. Ehrmantrout was elected to membership in Phi Beta Kappa, Golden Key, and Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Societies. Following his undergraduate training, he was accepted into the University of Washington School of Dentistry, one of the premier dental schools in the United States.
After graduating from dental school near the top of his class in 2004, Dr. Ehrmantrout received his orthodontic training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Here, Dr. Ehrmantrout trained under many well-known leaders of the orthodontic profession, and became exceptionally proficient with the latest technological advances in orthodontics and dentistry.
Dr. Ehrmantrout is an Elite Preferred Invisalign Provider for both adults and teens, a status achieved by fewer than 1% of orthodontists in the world. He is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the Washington State Society of Orthodontists, the World Federation of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, and the Thurston-Mason Counties Dental Society.

I'm so happy with my results so far using invisalign. I enjoy coming into the office because everyone is so nice! Dr. Ehrmantrout has always explained the process to me and everything that needs to be done so I am aware of what's happening with my teeth. Definitely recommend coming here!

We always get positive interactions, questions are always treated as if they are important even small ones. We love this orthodontist. We were even told by his office we could get a deduction of 3k from somewhere else I said nope we love your care and I appreciate you. Will take all my kids here.

10 out of 10, 100 out of 100! I am a 38 year old male who wasn't stoked on getting orthodontic work but this office rocks and I am super happy with my results. At my very first appointment, the staff told me that they were going to make sure they get my teeth PERFECT! I was totally sold! I had open bite and crowding. It only took 16 months of Invisalign. My final appointment to get a permanent retainer is next week! And even at that appointment, I know that Dr Ehrmantrout and his team are going to make sure everything is perfect before I walk out with my new smile. I'm pumped. Scheduling was a breeze, staff are super friendly, appointments were short and easy (which is important when you have a full-time job and a 2 year old). This is the place to go. I recommend infinity times.

I am very happy with the results. I now feel comfortable when I smile. It feels like freedom and I don't think about my teeth which were extremely spaced. I waited for most of my life to have this smile.

Hawks Prairie Orthodontics took great care to insure safety during the covid outbreak. Masks, hand sanitizer, face shields when necessary, social distancing...all precautions necessary to ensure the safety of patients as well as the staff! Thanks for making me feel at ease as this is a stressful time for me! You guys are the best!!!

From beginning to end of each appointment, the staff and Dr.Ermantrout provide amazing service. They welcome you into a happy and bubbly environment which is important since people fear going to the dentist. I've been dodging doing any ortho work needed because I didn't trust my past dentists but they changed this. My daughter and I began Invisalign in October 2020 and we are more than halfway through but we couldn't be any happier. However, now we're thinking of the upcoming final appointments since it means that we won't be surrounded by these amazing people. I highly recommend them and would give them a million stars if I could. Even on their busiest days, they take time & chat with each patient always with a smile on their face. Even through a mask, you can see their eyes smiling. Thank you to everyone at this clinic, we look forward to seeing you soon for our next appointment in January 2022:)

My daughter got her braces her and I love this office. Only thing I'm not too keen on is they schedule your next appointment and email it to you. My problem with this is it doesn't always work with my schedule so I'm having to call them and reschedule for a better day and time. That's my only gripe. Regardless though, they work to find a better day that works for you.

I was recommended by a lot of families to go check out Hawks Prairie Orthodontics because they were "AMAZING" and that's the truth!!! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, helpful and always on top of things and easy to work with. Dr.Ehrmantrout is down to earth, friendly, informative and gives you undivided attention even when he's running around treating all his patients you will NEVER feel left out. I love the upbeat music playing, the ice cream treats for the kids to pick afterwards, the game room it's just a fun place to be. We began our treatments when COVID19 hit and even in these uncertain times the care and staff have not faltered and I am impressed by how well they adapted and continue to provide AMAZING service.
