Dr. Ehrmantrout grew up in Olympia and graduated from Capital High School in 1996. He attended the University of Washington, and earned a magna cum laude degree in business in 2000. At the University of Washington, Dr. Ehrmantrout was elected to membership in Phi Beta Kappa, Golden Key, and Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Societies. Following his undergraduate training, he was accepted into the University of Washington School of Dentistry, one of the premier dental schools in the United States.
After graduating from dental school near the top of his class in 2004, Dr. Ehrmantrout received his orthodontic training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Here, Dr. Ehrmantrout trained under many well-known leaders of the orthodontic profession, and became exceptionally proficient with the latest technological advances in orthodontics and dentistry.
Dr. Ehrmantrout is an Elite Preferred Invisalign Provider for both adults and teens, a status achieved by fewer than 1% of orthodontists in the world. He is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the Washington State Society of Orthodontists, the World Federation of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, and the Thurston-Mason Counties Dental Society.

I got my braces as an adult when Dr Ehrmantrout had his one location in Olympia. Loved the experience and the staff was always friendly and helpful. My daughter now comes to the office in Lacey. They have always been so professional and accommodating. I always recommend them to anyone looking for orthotic work. They are especially great with young children and teens.

This is a great kid friendly orthodontist. Everyone is so nice and cares a lot. You can reach them after hours if needed. They are also good about scheduling on short notice when there is an issue or mishap with the braces. Good place for all dental needs!!!

He was a great orthodontist but during covid decided to move clinics and gave the patients zero warning or complication and refuses to allow them to transfer beyond disappointed and not a great way to treat your patients

My step son goes here, and the girls at the front are so helpful and so nice. I would 100% recommend going here. The prices are so reasonable. And Hannah, is so sweet!

If you had a choice of using this place versus a different one I would definitely go somewhere else. The dentist doesn't seem to have good communication with his staff and his staff doesn't have good communication with their patients. I sat there once waiting for the dentist to come back and he had gone to lunch. No one is on the same page. I've gone in there for a scan and the scan never happened. I've been in there for a dentist appointment and the dentist wasn't there. I've been to many many many dentists and I have been never been left wondering what the hell is going on with my file and just keep getting the runaround. Everybody's very nice but nobody seems to know what's going on. The office is very unorganized and has lost my information numerous times now. I'm paying a lot of money for this service and they just keep screwing up. I would never use these guys again.
