Dr. Adkins grew up in Albuquerque, NM and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of New Mexico. He then went on to Creighton University in Omaha, NE and graduated Cum Laude from the School of Dentistry in 2008. Upon completing his DDS degree, Dr. Adkins returned to his hometown of Albuquerque to begin creating confident, healthy smiles in the Land of Enchantment.
Dr. Adkins opened the doors to his practice in 2009 and since then has performed a wide variety of dental procedures. Dr. Adkins enjoys continuing his education alongside some of his most well-regarded peers in the dental community and he makes learning a priority. Because dentistry is always evolving, it is important to Dr. Adkins to keep up to date with dentistrys latest techniques and technologies.
Dentistry is not just a career for Dr. Adkins, it is his passion. He feels strongly about educating his patients on proper oral health and believes wholeheartedly in giving back to his community. Dr. Adkins understands the importance of living pain-free and enjoys watching his patients leave his office with confidence in their smile.
Dr. Adkins is also passionate about all things New Mexico; including the Sandia Mountains, the UNM Lobos, and the ever-changing seasons. When hes not in the office working, you can find Dr. Adkins in the outdoors with his family. Dr. Adkins loves spending time with his wife, Melissa and their two very busy little boys. Together they love exploring everything New Mexico has to offer.
