My faith in a great dental experience has been restored. I have had so much dental work done in the past that I ended up avoiding the dentist for years and then had lots of problems. My smart watch always registered I had a workout, or I needed acupuncture before a dental visit. Dr May and his staff are amazing and when I go to their office I'm calm, relaxed, and have good laughs. They are cheerleaders and friendly and it makes the experience so much more enjoyable. I had to get an amalgam filling out and it was unlike the other ones from dentists who didn't care mercury was going everywhere. I also had a root canal removed and an implant put in and it has healed so fast and no trauma like the other implants I've had- the last guy who did my extraction said I needed to be put under because it was so traumatizing for both of us. Dr May did wonders and again I'm so happy I found his office. I drive a long way and it's totally worth it, so is the expense he charges. He does everything in house and it's so nice to have the crown or temporary tooth put on before you leave the office. Oh!! And another thing I'm surprised by is he looks at the whole body and how well you are able to heal. He asked about vit d levels and gave me minerals to take before my surgery. What dentist does this?! First one I've found. He also uses muscle testing and can clear trauma via the emotion code. He's just very different and my new favorite dentist, which I never thought I'd have. I can now say I really enjoy going to the dentist.

So just to preface this, I'm not by any means someone who writes many reviews, especially bad ones. Just after my experience with this office I felt that i needed to put my experience out there for people who are considering this practice. What can i say.. as much as i wanted it to work, I was very disappointed with my experience with Dr May and his staff. I spent so much time trying to justify the insanely high consultation cost ($725) and finally decided to move forward and had high expectations but was nothing but disappointed. After my insanely high cost consult, i decided NOT to move forward with this practice so that should tell you a lot. To be honest, you can see where all of the funds for the consult are going to when you walk through the door. The office is full with insanely cheesy art work and you leave with a goodie bag full of "Dr May" branded items you don't need. A note to the team would be to cut out the trinkets and lower the price for people to get the help they need. Aside from that, two things really didn't gel with me. One of them was a really unpleasant text change i had with a jr staff member there. Upon telling her that i wasn't sure if i was comfortable taking 20,000 iu daily for weeks she immediately responded saying "your welcome to go elsewhere." After all of the time and energy I spent i was extremely upset to receive that response. Just shows that your not worth much after your insanely high consult fee has gone through. I appreciate the apology i received from another staff member who called me several days afterwards, but the whole thing just left me with a bad feeling. I then asked them for the CBCT scan to get a consult elsewhere and they kept sending me versions without the reader and ones that were just not working. When i tried to call them from Dr's offices bc they weren't able to open they just would not pick up calls and were just really passive aggressive about the whole thing. Anyhow, after all of the back and forth it took me over 1 MONTH to get a working CBCT scan from them. So in addition to the nasty response from the Jr team member and the insanely complicated process to simply get my expensive scan from them i was just over it and disgusted by the way they run their practice. You can tell its all money driven and that they don't genuinely care about the patients past or experience. I know a lot of you who are seeking places like this are looking for someone who will understand, empathize, etc as you probably have more complex issues and this is just simply not the place. Please do your research. I found an amazing practice afterward that was the compete opposite from this experience. i'm bummed i had to spend all that money and go through what i had to but i certainly learned my lesson.

LOVE this dental team! I have been in the dental industry for many years and am dentist groupie but only to the BEST. Dr. Yuri and his staff are truly the BEST. I had full mouth reconstruction, and I am picky. I didn't need to be picky here because they are perfectionist themselves. I have a wonderfully beautiful smile now and had a blast through to completion. I actually cried (happy tears) once the final crowns were seated, they are BEAUTIFUL. I HIGHLY recommend this dental team. Terrific office staff, well appointed office, state-of-art equipment, friendly, engaging, and effective & efficient all describe this office.

Dr. May was the only dentist in Connecticut recomended to me for ceramic implants. He is expert at his art and super friendly, as is all his staff. I quickly decided to switch to Dr. May for all my dental needs. The encouragement I receive whether in a cleaning or undergoing surgery, has been, and continues to be why I no longer fear going to the dentist. In fact I became a better patient because of it. I love Dr. May's practice as much as one can love any dentist practice.

They live up to the hype! This place is a cut above any other dentist I've been to. At first I was skeptical because of them not working with dental insurance and found the intake forms a little intimidating and the cost of the first visit a little steep. Then, once I got into the office and interacted with them, I realized their services are definitely worth the cost. They're exceptionally professional and kind. I felt like they really tried to get to know my dental history and worked with me to get my needs met. I really felt listened to and taken care of. They took detailed photos and imaging as a part of my first visit and sent me a copy of all the imaging they took upon request. Dr. Yuriy cares a lot about the health of his patients and has clearly stayed up to date with modern advancements in dentistry. I needed some long overdue dental work done and they were able to schedule my appointments quickly and in short notice. Dr. Yuriy used the photos and x rays they took to point out some old fillings that needed to be replaced. I was able to a get a porcelain crown placed the same day as the rest of my other fillings. He did a fantastic job. Everything has healed up nicely. I trust Dr. Yuriy and his wonderful staff a lot and can't recommend them enough!

Dr. May and his team of super kind professionals are top notch I can honestly say I enjoy and look forward to going to his office ...and I don't know anyone who says they like going to the dentist - except for people who go here! The office is immaculate - super clean, very modern technology (which makes cavity fillings painless and quick). I originally came here because I have a sports injury that will require me to get a dental implants and I wanted to get info on a ceramic implant. I haven't done this procedure yet and while I'm anxious to do it, Dr. May is reassuring and knowledgeable. So much so, that I just ditched my former dentist all together and do everything here! And I live an hour away. Natural Dentistry provides a holistic approach that isn't matched elsewhere. Dr. May and his team (especially Bri and Julia!) make you feel like a person, not just a patient. 5 stars!

All you dental phobics out there listen up and fear no longer. Look, nobody really wants to go to the dentist. The embarrassment, the procedures, the pain, the cost! If you're like me you're probably putting it off for all the above reasons but you need not any longer. You will experience a dental wonderland and state of the art equipment. The staff is wonderful and supportive. Dr. May literally has magic hands. Yesterday I underwent an extensive procedure and both he and his dental assistant, Brie, coached me through it. It was very empowering. Dr.May offers a less toxic dental experience without the trauma. Our mouths are a portal to our bodies and he views dentistry in a holistic manner. If you are looking to up your game and your overall health check out Dr. May. You will be glad you did.

Dr. May and his staff are truly amazing! Going to the dentist causes much anxiety, but their gentle, kind demeanor makes me feel much more comfortable. I appreciate the holistic approach as I try my best to live an all natural lifestyle. I saw Dr May September 2019 for my first visit. I drove 1.5 hours from NY. I have a long standing history of dental work. I suffer from every possible dental issue you can imagine. I went to him with gum swelling, gum disease, swollen lymph nodes, and a laundry list of other symptoms. Upon his exam, he agreed i was having a tough time. He found an extremely dangerous spirochete infection in my mouth which is likely the cause of all of my problems. I finally felt like someone cared enough to find my issue and was going to fix it. I was wrong! Dr May completely dismissed me. Although he found all of the issues I was complaining about and found the likely cause of them, he sent me away with a prescription for a mouth guard and told me to see a doctor, as he felt my issues were medical. I cannot explain in words the rage I still feel as I suffer greatly every single day. Every symptom I have is from my neck up. I tested positive on all of his exams and intake paperwork. I have pain, swelling, bleeding, clicking, and every other thing you can imagine IN MY MOUTH and yet because I was not a VIP client spilling over with money, I was dismissed. Dr May should be ashamed of himself. He is no different than any other con artist dentist I have met.

I am from the city and from a friend's recommendation was willing to drive a few hours here because I trust the care and the holistic approach. When I got there it was even more amazing to have everyone with such a welcoming spirit. Granted it was 7am so mornings are not usually the most joyful but that assumption was debunked once I arrived. If you're having trouble choosing a dentist this is the place to be.

Dr. May was unprofessional, abrupt, and extremely condescending toward me on multiple visits. During one examination, he jabbed the probe into my gums and afterward walked away laughing. After my last examination and telling me I'd need another surgery, while he and his technician were putting together their over priced cost estimate the two were laughing. I used to enjoy going there for cleanings, until the hygienist I was seeing left. The present hygienist is just another stressed out worker do it quick, let's make the money, and get them out the door. They did a full scaling of my mouth in 1 hour by giving me shots all over my gums. This used to take an hour or two over multiple sessions with no injections and little pain. She did everything I hated about going to the dentists office in the first place. And about his fancy office/high tech office... trust me you will be paying for it with his jacked up prices. To put it bluntly - if they are kind it's so they can take your credit card. If you want to see a pompous practitioner - see Dr. May.

I usually don't leave any reviews, but this time I wanted to share what exceptional care my family received over the past 6 months. I had a few implants done and the team made it so easy and comfortable. Dr. May is very knowledgeable and skillful and uses high quality material. My daughter has an ALF device and we already noticed improvement in her teeth and jaw. Everyone in the office is friendly and always helpful, especially Bri. We travel all the way from MA for any check up or ALF adjustment and it's always worth the drive. So far, it's a very positive experience and exceptional care.

Dr. May's office was such a great experience from start to finish. From the art in the lobby, to the process of client intake, all the way through the goodie bag at the end of the last appointment, I felt taken care of. Dr. May's staff were well trained and timely with the assistance during the procedures as well. They connected and built trust while also staying on task which made a better experience for everyone. We even stopped and did a mini yoga session during the procedure. They know efficiency!! I'll definitely be going back this year for my cleaning with a smile

I Was nervous about Appointment due to covid , once I arrived I was treated so great and quickly was confident and comfortable, thanks to Bri ! Bri is such a blessing, and a gift ! She was not only superb at customer services, she was nurturing, bubbly, and professional, she made me feel like a very special person, family and friend! I truly felt so blessed to have such a caring soul, assisting Dr. May in my implant placement and cavity filings.. she comforted me through the entire service each day! I am very thankful for Bri! , my butterflies melted away shortly after being in her care ! Very good experience! I had mercury removed from four teeth and had 3 wisdom teeth pulled. Sites restored with the PRF procedure. Bri and Julia were awesome in assistance and step by step walk through with any questions or concerns before ,during and after my procedure. Dr. May was incredibly professional and thorough at my consult. His strong confidence gave me comfort and reassurance throughout the procedure. They even had me laughing without laughing gas! With very minimal pain, my mouth healed very quickly. Great experience, great staff!
