Dr. Moon has been practicing dentistry for 16 years. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in South Korea and practiced dentistry for over 10 years in his own clinic before moving to the United States. He then completed 4 years of residency including 2 years of Advanced Education for General Dentistry (AEGD) and 1 year of General Practice Residency (GPR) at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health, University of Rochester, New York.He also has worked as an associate dentist in the Northwest suburbs of the Chicago area before starting his own practice.
Dr. Moon has considerable experience in all areas of general dentistry including dental implants. He has completed over 2,000 cases of implant surgeries and restorations, in which some of those cases were reported in academic seminars.

He is a very caring and skilled dentist! He is not only good with adults but also with kids! He is very knowledgeable, well-experienced, and trustworthy! He won't charge a dime more than what is needed! The staff are friendly and nice too!

I went to get a crown. Dr. Moon explained the procedure thoroughly. He was very gentle and quick. The office was very clean and cozy. All the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Moon!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Not only is Dr. Moon an incredibly skilled dentist, he is also very THOROUGH and CONSIDERATE. He frequently checked in to check my pain level during my fillings, and he also took time to explain the procedure. Any anxiety I had towards dentists dissipated, and I was able to relax during the process. Dr. Moon is also BILINGUAL--English and Korean--and that made communication super easy. Going to the dentist shouldn't feel like a chore. It also shouldn't be scary. Unfortunately, my previous experience with dentists was not great; however, Dr. Moon completely restored my trust in dentists. The office is very cozy and clean, and everyone followed COVID-19 procedures perfectly. They only schedule one patient/family per session, which significantly reduces the risk of COVID-19. I traveled a long distance to see Dr. Moon, and I would be willing to do so again!

I recently got my invisalign at Dr. Moon's office and I am very satisfied with how it turned out! He was very professional and made the procedure very thorough and precise. He explained each and every step clarity for me to better understand how the procedure works, and constantly checked to make sure I didn't have any discomfort. The office was also very clean and cozy, with good sanitation. If you are looking to get clear braces like invisalign, I highly recommend Dr. Moon!

I recently drove three hours to go in for a filling replacement and I have to say that it was worth the drive. I normally get very nervous when I go to the dentist because of prior bad dental experiences. However, Dr. Moon was very trustworthy with his practices. He worked very quickly and thoroughly while still being gentle. It's been a few days since the replacement and I have not had any discomfort or pain in the treatment area. It was also nice being able to communicate in both English and Korean. Everyone there was also very friendly, which I appreciated. They were thorough in taking precautions for COVID-19 by checking my temperature and keeping their masks on. Overall, I was very pleased and I recommend this place for anyone that might be looking for a new dentist.
