Born in Venezuela, Dr. Cox grew up in south Florida and has called upstate South Carolina home for several years. Her Doctor of Dental Medicine was awarded by Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. Since graduating, Dr. Cox has sought out continuing education opportunities and to expand her skills and the services shes able to provide patients.
Oral healthcare is an evolving field. Advances in materials, techniques and technology mean more options, stronger results and more comfortable dental experiences for patients. Dr. Cox is committed to providing each patient with the smile of their dreams and ensuring treatment is efficient, effective and comfortable. Continuing education is part of that commitment.
Dr. Coxs husband, Adam, is a practicing general dentist. The couple has two young children. When shes not caring for patients, Dr. Coxs priority is time with her family. They enjoy attending outdoor festivals, cooking together and participating in activities with her church. Dr. Cox believes in helping others. She participates in mission trips to Jamaica, supports Hope Pantry and volunteers in her churchs nursery.
Dr. Adam Cox graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in 2011. He became a dentist because he likes being able to help others and give them a good experience. He finds it rewarding to fix a wide range of problems and have a sense of accomplishment from a job well done and having satisfied patients. He is thankful for the fantastic team of assistants, hygienists and front office staff and the great work they do.
Dr. Cox has been married to his wife and fellow dentist, Yani, for almost 10 years, and is grateful to be able to work with her. He admires the work she does. Together, they have two wonderful children named Thomas and Sarah, and they love spending time together as a family, along with their two cats, Boots and Tiger. When he is not at the office, Dr. Cox enjoys working out, reading, doing yardwork and other outdoor activities. His Christian faith is important to him and he enjoys being active in his church.

I am a wife and a mother of three beautiful children: Valentina, Alexander and a new baby, Abigail. I have a cat that we consider part of our family. When Im not in the office, I love to spend time with my kids playing outdoors and watching movies.

Im a newcomer to South Carolina. Born and raised in Florida, I moved here in June 2016 with my fianc, daughter and our cat. When Im not working, Im spending time with my family and probably exploring our new state. We enjoy the outdoors, hiking, festivals, historic battlefields and farmers markets. Its fun to live in a place with seasons!
Zuleyva Dental Assistant Zuleyva graduated from Spartanburg Community College in 2018 with her degree in Applied Science and certification as an expanded duties dental assistant, after which she joined our dental team. Zuleyva is a team player, and consistently puts her patients first to ensure they receive excellent care. She loves that our practice has allowed her to grow as a dental assistant and to become even more passionate about dentistry. Zuleyvas love of dentistry has helped her to realize that she wants to return to school to become a registered dental hygienist.
Zuleyva has two supportive parents who have always encouraged her to be the best she can be and to pursue her education in what she is most passionate about. She also has two younger sisters, age 17 and 11.

I joined our team in 2019, but I have been working in the medical field for more than 20 years. My favorite part of being part of this team is patient care. Our team is fun, and we care about our patients. We are caring of everyone we meet.I spend most of my time with my family. I have an amazing husband and two wonderful stepchildren. I have three dogs who are my kids as well. Outside of work, I love spending time at the beach and in the mountains. My family and I try to travel as much as possible. We serve at our church that we love as well.
Erika ReceptionistErika Peraza is our new receptionist and recently joined our practice in October. She loves that the practice is very family-friendly and organized, making it a stress-free environment. She has a daughter Aujulianna and a son, Noah, and is excited to marry her high school sweetheart soon! She loves spending time with her family, traveling to the mountains and the beach and trying new foods. She adores her Siberian Husky, Bella. Erika was born in Washington state and came to South Carolina in 2001. Prior to moving here, she has lived in Washington, California, Kansas and Maine.
Vivianna Registered Dental HygienistViviana graduated from Greenville Technical College in May 2021, and she joined our practice in October 2021. She loves being a part of a team that strives to give the best individualized treatment to each patient and develop long-lasting relationships with them. Viviana shows up every morning eager to provide thorough dental hygiene care to our patients while ensuring they have a pleasant experience.
Viviana has Puerto Rican and Guatemalan heritage from her mother and father respectively. Viviana was born and raised in Puerto Rico and moved to South Carolina with her husband, Yamil, in 2018. She and Yamil have been married since 2018. They adopted their dog, Marko, in 2019. Marko is like their baby, and they have enjoyed his companionship since adopting him. Viviana likes playing soccer in a Sunday League and hanging out with friends. She also enjoys going to new outdoor places and traveling with her husband.
Heather Dental HygienistHeather graduated from Greenville Technical College. She joined our practice in August 2021. Heather loves working with a team that has been so warm and welcoming, and she contributes to the success of our practice by helping patients with their oral health.

I moved to Western North Carolina 13 years ago. Since that time I've had all kinds of unsatisfactory experiences with dental services. Not with Dr. Cox's dental practice. It is easily the best dental practice I've been to yet in every way. Dr. Cox is professional, thorough, and patient oriented - as are all members of the staff. Never thought I'd say this, but it's a real pleasure to "go to the dentist" - when that dentist is Dr. Cox - even if it does take an hour to get there. Very highly recommended.

Great experience! I felt very comfortable from the start, and there was a good, professional atmosphere. I got the full-experience with x-rays, an exam, a cleaning, and they even found some cavities that needed to be taken care of. Every step was well explained and my comfort definitely seemed to be a priority. Very glad I chose to come here!

I found Dr. Cox earlier this year when searching for a practice close to home that was a network provider for my new insurance plan. I had not heard anything about this practice, so was taking a shot in the dark. Wow! I have been so impressed with Dr. Cox, her staff, and the facility. Dr. Cox and her staff are friendly and professional, making new and long-time patients feel welcome and confident in the level of care they provide. The facility is new, clean, and fitted with modern dental equipment. I encourage anyone looking for a dental practice in/near Greer to give them a try. You will not be disappointed!

So thankful to have Dr Yani Cox as our family dentist. The staff is warm and welcoming, the wait times minimal and Dr Cox has been knowledgeable, skilled and reasonably priced with any extra work we needed. Dr Cox puts our dental heath first and makes sure we understand the big picture when it comes to the long term health of our mouth and teeth. So glad we found a caring ethical dentist for our family.

I switched dentists to Dr. Cox around a year ago. My experience there has been nothing short of wonderful. First, the office is beautiful and Katelyn at the front desk is very welcoming. I've never waited for more than 3 minutes any time I've been there. My cleanings are always very thorough. Dr. Cox also walked me through dental care while pregnant and made me feel at ease about getting dental work done. Recently, I had to have a crown due to a cracked tooth. Dr. Cox was very gentle and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. She was even able to work me in the following day at my convenience to smooth out the crown due to some pain I was having and fixed my mouth guard to make sure it was comfortable while I slept. I'm so glad that I found a wonderful dentist that I don't dread going to!

I am currently needing to have a root canal done. I had to find a dentist that could complete the root canal, and was covered under my insurance. Aetna revealed that Cox Dental would be able to help me out. I made an appointment and had my X-rays sent over from my old dentist. I made it to my appointment and was told I'd need to have one xray done. No big deal...so I go about getting the x ray done and I am then seen by Doctor Cox who confirms what I already know from my first dentist appointment, I need a root canal and some fillings done. Dr. Cox was in my room for less than 5 minutes. So, I am then given a treatment plan which outlines my work to be done. I told the hygenist that I will need to call my insurance and reschedule the appointment. I was in the office for less than 20 minutes...saw the doctor for less than 5 minutes...had 1 xray done. I went ahead and scheduled to have my root canal done by Dr. Cox after my wisdom teeth were to be removed the next week. I get an e-mail from my insurance a few days later to find out I was billed $200!!! $200 for 1 xray?! I'm planning on contesting this with my insurance....this is highway robbery and I feel very taken advantage of..

I cannot sing Dr. Cox's and her staff's praises enough!!! I have a huge fear of dentists! I had a very bad experience in my past to which is to blame. Dr Cox and her staff were more than gentle! I have had tons of work completed to this date and I can not be happier. So happy that I take my children there as well! I have been a patient of Dr. Cox's since she opened over a year ago. I am very thankful she is super patient with me and makes sure to go over everything with me. I feel like my comfort is her number 1 priority. If you are looking for a dentist...look no further! The experience from when you open the door and are greeted with a smiling face and super clean office to a short wait time to a gentle staff

Dr. Cox is a truly remarkable dentist. She does very well at explaining to her patients what she is doing or going to do to keep them at ease during their visit and procedures. She also reviews the X-rays and explains what is being looked at. She is always willing to help give a second opinion. I highly recommend her services.
