Each year Dr. Yani pursue many hours of continuing education. By staying abreast of changes in dental treatments, materials, and technologies, she ensures her patients receive the highest level of care. Through her attendance at conferences, lectures, and seminars, Dr. Yani learns from the leaders in oral healthcare. Shes constantly strengthening and expanding her skills and knowledge. Its Dr. Yanis goal that every patient is comfortable during their visits and smiling at the end of their treatment. Continuing education ensures that happens.
Born and raised in Bolivia, Dr. Yani practiced dentistry in her home country until 2001. She also volunteered at Bolivias Cancer Center Institute, providing free dental care to children, and participated with a team from Yale University to care for children with cleft lip and palate.
For the past 15 years, Dr. Yani has lived in Fort Lauderdale with her daughter, Stephanie. The family also has a adorable pugOtis. Spending time with her loved ones is important to Dr. Yani, especially enjoying outside activities and the sun. Shes an avid traveler, with a sense of adventure, and wants to see as much of the world as she can.
Dr. Koutouzis is the Director of the prestigious Advanced Specialty Education Program in Periodontology and Associate Professor at Nova Southeastern University. He has trained generations of periodontists that practice all over the world. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.Dr. Koutouzis earned his Certificate and Masters Degree in Periodontology at Gothenburg University in Sweden. Gothenburg University is world-renowned as the birthplace of dental implants, where they were invented and developed through top research. In addition, Dr. Koutouzis received a second certificate in Periodontology from University of Florida, where he also served as an Assistant and Associate Professor for 8 years.Dr. Koutouzis has contributed to the development and evaluation of several surgical techniques in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. He maintains an active research team at Nova Southeastern University evaluating several innovative treatment methods related to Periodontology and dental implants. He serves as a consultant and shares his expertise with several dental implant companies. He has published extensively in scientific literature and actively lectures at scientific meetings all over the world.Dr. Koutouzis is an award-winning periodontist in research and education from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Research Foundation Award, the American Academy of Periodontology, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologist. He is the recipient of the prestigious Astra Tech World Conference Basic Research Competition Award.

I go periodically to the dentist but I never experienced such informative first appointment with any dentist as I did experience with Dr Yani. The assessment of my root canals by properly recommending a CT scan for their evaluation was right on point because the organs affected related with those meridians pointed right to those infections that need to be addressed in my mouth. I highly recommend her practice if you want a healthy mouth, healthy body.

I was more than surprised after Dr Yani revealed me all the information about the connection between oral health and the entire body. I am very thankful for all she done to help me back to a normal life. After two years treatment I am back to normal. I got 6 crowns and 4 implants.
