Dr. Wisdom Teeth is an exodontia-only dental practice. Also, 90% of our patients come as referrals from the dental community. Therefore it is our goal to provide their patients with the most comfortable tooth extraction experience possible, to share our art, and return them to the care of their primary dentist or specialist.
Our goal is to make every patients extraction experience as pleasant as possible so you know you made the right decision referring your important patients to our practice. Also, Dr. Wisdom Teeth offers general anesthesia administered by our board certified medical anesthesiologist for those whod rather sleep through their procedure, in fact, we recommend it for every extraction!
Dr. Fenn is know for his pleasant demeanor and jovial personality. Patients are always so relieved when they meet him and realize his genuine concern for their comfort and positive patient experience. *Dr Fenn is a General Dentist providing Oral Surgery Services and IS NOT an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
Dr. Fenn was born in Mesa, AZ then moved to Texas while his father finished medical school and Anesthesia residency. He then moved to Henderson NV where his father practiced anesthesiology. Dr. Fenn served a mission for the LDS Church and now lives in Queen Creek with his wife Carrie and their six children. Dr. Fenn knew at an early age he wanted to be a dentist. After shadowing his mentors for awhile, he gained an appreciation for the art of taking out teeth. Upon completing dental school at UNLV and an Oral Surgery Internship in Nashville Tennessee he went on to travel all over Texas and Kentucky soley practicing exodontia. He has literally extracted tens of thousands of teeth and has now dedicated his career to his own practice, Dr. Wisdom Teeth here in Arizona.
Dr. Fenn Sr. brings years of medical anesthesiology experience to our practice. As soon as you meet him, you will realize where the other Dr. Fenn gets his 'fun' personality. You are in good hands with Dr. Snooze :)
Dr. J. Marlow Fenn MD is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist. He was also born in Mesa, where he attended Mesa High School. He served a mission for the LDS church in Mexico City and later married his wife Natalie. He has four children, including the other Dr. Fenn! After receiving his MD from the University of Texas, San Antonio, medical school and completing anesthesiology residency, he moved his family to Henderson, NV where he practiced for 19 years with the same anesthesia group, helping many thousands of people with their surgeries, births and other procedures. Dr. Fenn has now partnered with his son and wants to help many thousands more find comfort during their extractions.
Amber is an Arizona native, along with her twin brother and two older sisters. She met her husband in high school and has two children of her own; her son, Christopher is 16 and her daughter Raelynn is 12. Her hobbies include traveling, kayaking, working-out, hiking, fishing, volunteering at the VA medical hospital and camping. However, her favorite hobby is just spending time with her family. She has worked in many areas of the dental field, starting as an intern dental assistant in 2003. She then moved to be a dental office manager in 2008. She loves to be around people and to help wherever she is needed. Most importantly, she loves to take care of both patient and doctor needs. Amber has over 17 years in the dental field and is a perfect addition to the Dr Wisdom Teeth Team.
Nate is Dr. Fenns little brother which adds to the family dynamic of the practice. He was born in San Antonio, TX, raised in Las Vegas, NV and now resides in Mesa, AZ. After returning home from his mission in Colorado Springs, CO, Nate is pursuing a bachelors degree in Kinesiology alongside his wife of almost 2 years, Kasia, pursuing a bachelors degree in construction management. He loves to be active regularly playing volleyball and basketball, enjoys weight lifting and bodybuilding, and also seeks out opportunities to ride dirt bikes.
Originally from Iowa City, IA, Tess moved to AZ at a young age. She started her dental career in 2007 and quickly became a Certified Dental Assistant and has been assisting ever since. She joined the Dr. Wisdom Teeth team in 2020 as a Surgical Assistant. She loves taking care of her patients in whatever capacity and needs they may have. Her favorite part is comforting people who may be anxious to come see the dentist.
Tess keeps busy with two teenagers, Carter and Kylie. She met her husband, Mike, in High school. They currently reside in San Tan Valley and have two dogs, Zeus, a boxer mastiff and Ace, a chihuahua and jack russell mix.
