Dr. Wisdom Teeth is an exodontia-only dental practice. Also, 90% of our patients come as referrals from the dental community. Therefore it is our goal to provide their patients with the most comfortable tooth extraction experience possible, to share our art, and return them to the care of their primary dentist or specialist.
Our goal is to make every patients extraction experience as pleasant as possible so you know you made the right decision referring your important patients to our practice. Also, Dr. Wisdom Teeth offers general anesthesia administered by our board certified medical anesthesiologist for those whod rather sleep through their procedure, in fact, we recommend it for every extraction!
Dr. Fenn is know for his pleasant demeanor and jovial personality. Patients are always so relieved when they meet him and realize his genuine concern for their comfort and positive patient experience. *Dr Fenn is a General Dentist providing Oral Surgery Services and IS NOT an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
Dr. Fenn was born in Mesa, AZ then moved to Texas while his father finished medical school and Anesthesia residency. He then moved to Henderson NV where his father practiced anesthesiology. Dr. Fenn served a mission for the LDS Church and now lives in Queen Creek with his wife Carrie and their six children. Dr. Fenn knew at an early age he wanted to be a dentist. After shadowing his mentors for awhile, he gained an appreciation for the art of taking out teeth. Upon completing dental school at UNLV and an Oral Surgery Internship in Nashville Tennessee he went on to travel all over Texas and Kentucky soley practicing exodontia. He has literally extracted tens of thousands of teeth and has now dedicated his career to his own practice, Dr. Wisdom Teeth here in Arizona.
Dr. Fenn Sr. brings years of medical anesthesiology experience to our practice. As soon as you meet him, you will realize where the other Dr. Fenn gets his 'fun' personality. You are in good hands with Dr. Snooze :)
Dr. J. Marlow Fenn MD is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist. He was also born in Mesa, where he attended Mesa High School. He served a mission for the LDS church in Mexico City and later married his wife Natalie. He has four children, including the other Dr. Fenn! After receiving his MD from the University of Texas, San Antonio, medical school and completing anesthesiology residency, he moved his family to Henderson, NV where he practiced for 19 years with the same anesthesia group, helping many thousands of people with their surgeries, births and other procedures. Dr. Fenn has now partnered with his son and wants to help many thousands more find comfort during their extractions.
Amber is an Arizona native, along with her twin brother and two older sisters. She met her husband in high school and has two children of her own; her son, Christopher is 16 and her daughter Raelynn is 12. Her hobbies include traveling, kayaking, working-out, hiking, fishing, volunteering at the VA medical hospital and camping. However, her favorite hobby is just spending time with her family. She has worked in many areas of the dental field, starting as an intern dental assistant in 2003. She then moved to be a dental office manager in 2008. She loves to be around people and to help wherever she is needed. Most importantly, she loves to take care of both patient and doctor needs. Amber has over 17 years in the dental field and is a perfect addition to the Dr Wisdom Teeth Team.
Nate is Dr. Fenns little brother which adds to the family dynamic of the practice. He was born in San Antonio, TX, raised in Las Vegas, NV and now resides in Mesa, AZ. After returning home from his mission in Colorado Springs, CO, Nate is pursuing a bachelors degree in Kinesiology alongside his wife of almost 2 years, Kasia, pursuing a bachelors degree in construction management. He loves to be active regularly playing volleyball and basketball, enjoys weight lifting and bodybuilding, and also seeks out opportunities to ride dirt bikes.
Originally from Iowa City, IA, Tess moved to AZ at a young age. She started her dental career in 2007 and quickly became a Certified Dental Assistant and has been assisting ever since. She joined the Dr. Wisdom Teeth team in 2020 as a Surgical Assistant. She loves taking care of her patients in whatever capacity and needs they may have. Her favorite part is comforting people who may be anxious to come see the dentist.
Tess keeps busy with two teenagers, Carter and Kylie. She met her husband, Mike, in High school. They currently reside in San Tan Valley and have two dogs, Zeus, a boxer mastiff and Ace, a chihuahua and jack russell mix.

Great staff and doctor. Dr. Fenn even called me the following day (Saturday) to see how I was doing. I have never had an oral surgeon do that.

My experience here was alright, of course you're not really all that excited to get your teeth extracted but they always try and joke around with you and make sure you're comfortable, I personally experienced the worst pain and swelling of my life and quickly ran through all the pain meds just to sleep throughout the night in the first week to not being able to chew well into the second but that's just my experience and I'm feeling a lot better. They explained the complications of impacted wisdom teeth and were done pretty quickly. All the staff are nice and very lovely

Wonderful experience from the time we walked in to even after the surgery when calling with questions. Every single person there was super kind and friendly. I often wonder why more places aren't like this. I highly recommend Dr. Wisdom Teeth and their team!!!! Thank you for wonderful service!!

I had an amazing experience from the start. Amber got me in quickly and was wonderful and so was the dental hygienist. From my Appointment to my x-rays to my extraction. I didn't even feel anything, I did get the laughing gas. I didn't know that my procedure was done it happened so fast the surgeon was amazing! I felt fine the rest the evening and not even the next day no pain! I will never go anywhere else and I suggest that if you're looking to get a Wisdom Teeth Pulled Don't look any further!!

Amber Hare the office manager dropped the ball repeatedly for 3 weeks in following up with me for the expected cost for getting my daughter's wisdom teeth out. Finally 3 days before the appointment I got frustrated enough that I was in tears on the phone and told her that a simple apology would go a long way. All I got was an "I'm sorry you feel this way." I told her that I would be letting the dentist know what his staff had done when we get there Friday. She then informed me that it would be best if we took our business elsewhere and hung up the phone and refused to answer when I called back. I had already told her that we had already taken off work, booked a hotel in the valley, as we live 4 hours away, made arrangements for our other children to stay while we took our older daughter down to San Tan and that it was very frustrating that they couldn't take 60 seconds to verify the insurance information to make sure we could even come. She knew this. Amber was so outraged that I wanted her to simply say, "I'm so sorry that I have dropped the ball in this again. I'll find the information and call you right back." Instead she cancels our appointment and hangs up. Her behavior would have been reasonable if she had been speaking to an irrate or abusive customer. She was not. I was literally in tears and just frustrated. Apparently she didn't want me to let Dr Fenn know any the mistakes. Everyone else is booked out 8 months. I guess I see why this office could get us in quickly. If by some miracle Dr Fenn is seeing this, I'd want to know what my office staff did to a customer, and I hope that your calls are recorded so that you can hear that call.

The whole team at Dr. Wisdom Teeth deserves 10/5 stars!! The receptionists were so helpful and welcoming. The assistant to the surgeon was awesome, and guided me through the whole process. The fantastic duo, Dr. Fenn and Dr. Fenn Sr., were also very supportive throughout the anesthesia and prep. I was super nervous as I had never had oral surgery, an IV, or anesthesia before. They played music and made me feel super comfortable. They are all very personable as well and make you feel safe and taken care of! Thank you a million times to the whole staff that made my wisdom teeth removal a breeze. I will be referring your amazing office to anybody and everybody!

no complaints so far. my stepdaughter referred us for my son. his wisdom teeth being impacted was causing autoimmune attacks. he was suffering so much. took a bit to get insurance approval but we got it done and he was in and out quickly. thank u!!

This is my second time using Dr wisdom teeth for getting my children's wisdom teeth removed. Both times have been so easy, smooth, quick & as pain free as possible. Even though we moved to Gilbert I still made the trip back for the next child. Will be back in a few years for the next son for sure.

Such an amazing group of people! Dr. Fan, Amber, Kellee, Nate, etc. I was very nervous for this and avoided it for years, but the atmosphere right away made me feel safe. The procedure went so well and I recommend this place to literally everyone and anyone that needs to get wisdom teeth removed. Cannot thank this group of people enough for everything they did for me.

The only reason I choose to go to Dr. Wisdom Teeth is because they had the best reviews, and let me say, they totally deserve it! From the minute I made my appointment, Amber talked me through everything and was so helpful and super sweet. I told her how nervous I was, and she told me about the people that worked there and everything that was going to happen and she just made me feel super comfortable. I was in and out of there so quick I didn't even realize I was done already. If I ever for some reason grow wisdom teeth again I'm definitely going back to them lol, just kidding but I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a place to get theirs removed to go here only because of how truly amazing my experience was.

My wife had a tooth removed recently at Dr. Wisdom Teeth. She is very sensitive to pain and was extremely nervous about having the procedure done. The entire staff at the dentistry immediately sensed this and was very much in tune with her apprehensions and couldn't have done a better job in making her absolutely comfortable. Her experience turned out better than she could have expected. What impressed me was everyone in that practice was on the same page when it came to patient care. Everyone was friendly, courteous, professional and followed thru on everything that any patient would expect. Dr. Fenn even called the next day as a follow up to see how my wife was doing. Extraordinary service and great job to everyone at Dr Wisdom Teeth.

I've been looking for a place to do my Husbands Dental work for YEARS.. His is actually a matter of life and death with his heart condition. We've been quoted upward of $38,000 for his work to get done in a fixed income. It came to a point where we quit looking and gave up because no one actually cared, it was about the $. I can't tell you how relived I was after my quote at Dr Wisdom Teeth.. Not only that, it felt like they were family from the front door to the back office. Had a tooth extracted today they were all absolutely amazing! Everybody was so sweet! They are extremely gentle there & they even numb your gums before they do the numbing shots I think that was my favorite part LOL usually the shots hurt so bad! I didn't feel the Novocaine shots at all. Highly recommend this place :)

My sister went here to get her wisdom teeth removed, and she seemed to heal well so I decided to go to the same place to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. The staff was friendly and made me feel comfortable and the surgery seemed to go well because I already feel like I'm almost done healing 10 days after. The one note I do have is that I could have used maybe 2 or 3 more pain pills than I was prescribed, because after I ran out of hydrocodone, there were a few days that the pain was very hard to deal with using ibuprofen alone. Overall, I'm glad I went here for my oral surgery and I'd recommend them to anyone that needs their wisdom teeth removed.
