Dr. Hang either gets it really right or drastically wrong. He and Reza Movahed were reckless and sloppy in their approach to my case. Worst of all is that when he screws up, pushes bad surgery and surgeon on you and robs you blind, he does nothing to make it right.

Dr. William Hang and his amazing clinical team save lives. Dr. Hang is a brilliant orthodontist and visionary who specializes in airway-centered orthodontics, that allows people to have healthy breathing habits and beautiful smiles, yes both are possible! Our entire experience both for my husband and my 8 year old daughter has been life changing! Dr. Hang's knowledge, experience and expertise in healing and correcting severe teeth crowding, narrow arches and improper tongue positioning (children and adults) as a result of having obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is outstanding. As a mother wanting only the best for her family's health and well-being, I feel incredibly fortunate that we were able find Dr. Hang. As patients living abroad we have traveled from Bangkok and Brussels in order to receive Dr. Hang's care and treatment. We are thrilled and grateful with the results that we have received. Thank you!

Although I haven't been officially treated by Dr. William Hang, from the interaction I did have with him, this is a good person who is willing to help. He listens to your complaints and tries to come up with the best solutions that are comfortable for you. If you have been to orthodontists and have been told to remove teeth, I would highly suggest you do your research and seek a second opinion.

My kid is finishing her orthotropic treatment, and I'm so glad I did it when we had the opportunity. It saved her from having a gummy smile and will probably save her from having braces as a teenager as well. I couldn't have gotten a better doctor than Dr. Hang. He is so experienced and his estimates are amazingly accurate. We came from San Diego to go here and it was well worth the trip. It would be nice if orthotropic treatment was offered more widely since not everyone can drive to Agoura Hills.

Hands down the top dentist in the entire country. Any child that is brought to Dr. Hang is going to have their life improved far more than they could ever imagine. I will surely bring my future children to him one day. He has helped me with extreme jaw issues that could have all been avoided had I not gone down the traditional orthodontics route. Dr. Hang is anything but traditional, he is an innovator. He cares about your kids face, airway, jaw, teeth, everything. He is the best. If you suffer from TMJD or sleep apnea or have other dental issues ...see Dr Hang. You won't regret it. Or if you have young kids who have issues like mouth breathing, tongue ties, and other related issues definitely bring them here.

Given the choice, my exquisitely beautiful daughter, inside and out, would have NEVER followed this path and preferred to have nature take its course. She has suffered through a premature root canal on her front tooth as a result of treatment by Dr. Hang and associate, Debbie Hang. It has been terribly painful escorting her through the associated difficulties and permanent damage. While the theory is technically intelligent, the application is potentially dangerous and frankly, they are happy to steal you blind. Get ready to write lots of checks to pay up for their estate and multiple Mercedes; this is about generating cash and they are more than delighted to use your child as a guinea pig for an accurate theory minus consistent results. Rather a travesty actually. There are other DDS out there that can get the job done without discoloring and rotting your kids' teeth while leaving them feeling emotionally battered in the process. Should you go forward, be prepared to take at least one day off work every week for 5 years for adjustments and ongoing issues. God doesn't make junk. No need to fix what isn't broken. Some 60,000 later, yikes! there is life beyond

After a routine cleaning, we discovered my son Luke, 7 years old, had a teeth grinding issue. A boy that young and happy shouldn't be grinding his teeth. In addition, Luke did have trouble breathing at night. Grinding helps him to breathe at night. I was referred to Dr. Hang, because of his training and out of the box treatment strategies. After meeting with him and his wife, it turns out that Luke was a bit tongue tied which had caused Luke's top jaw to stop growing forward. This stunted growth in his upper jaw had caused him to have a blocked airway while sleeping. Ultimately, this caused the grinding. Dr. Hang laid out the strategy that would help Luke's entire quality if life change for the better. Luke now sleeps with his mouth closed and no grinding. He has a clear airway and there is no more heavy breathing at night. The continued therapy is teaching him how to use his tongue properly so we don't end up where we started. We also don't need to look at any jaw expansion which is something that definitely would have had to happen if we didn't follow through on the recommended treatment. Dr. Hang was so caring and genuine and I am sure that once we are back in a few years for braces our experience will be just as wonderful.

People now say I have a "Hollywood Smile" and I was nominated for "Best Smile" in school. Dr. Hang has seriously changed the quality of my life. There is not a single day that goes by when I do not feel deep gratitude for the work he does. I lived with chronic head, neck, jaw and myofacial pain from adolescence into my young adulthood. The pain was so pervasive and all-consuming that I was often out sick from school, had to quit a variety of activities and sports and began withdrawing from social opportunities I once enjoyed. I went to college and was always attempting to manage the pain--chiropractic, osteopathy, massage, medication, dietary changes-- over the years I tried every allopathic and alternative treatment in the book. Some treatments helped momentarily but I was always back in debilitating pain a week later. I never experienced any sustainable relief. I was living in Chicago and visiting family in San Diego and heard about Dr. Hang through a family friend. We set up an appointment and drove to Thousand Oaks. He took one look at my mouth, asked me to swallow and diagnosed me with a tongue thrust. My improper tongue posture and swallowing pattern were causing me to clench and grind my teeth multiple hours every day. He also explained that my childhood thumb sucking, retractive headgear and narrow palate were likely notworthy root contributing factors to my chronic pain. He recommended Myofunctional Therapy and a few months later I began palatal expansion and am currently in braces. I HAVE NOT FELT THIS GOOD SINCE I WAS 10 YEARS OLD!!! I went from chronic neck, jaw, head, upper back and myofacial pain every single day of my life to two headaches a month (and those are hormonally related)! My jaw no longer pops or locks, I no longer grind my teeth, I sleep better, have relatively no facial pain or back pain and I'm able to participate in low impact sports and activities I never thought possible ten years ago. My chiropractor has also noted (via x-ray) a significant change in my cervical spine and cranial alignment. My airway has also expanded significantly (noted via x-ray also). My family and friends say that I'm a different person. And I am because I am no longer plagued with headaches and inflammation all over my body! If you have a young child TAKE THEM TO DR. HANG! If I had seen Dr. Hang as a 4 year old, post thumb sucking, I would have been saved from an adolescence and young adulthood of endless, chronic health problems. His philosophy will not only improve your child's airway and make their face more attractive but it will save them from the ills of retractive orthodontics. If you are an adult, I recommend that you see Dr. Hang too! I have been so impacted by his work that I am currently returning to graduate school to become a Speech Pathologist and Myofunctional Therapist who works alongside dentists like Dr. Hang. I cannot recommend him enough. I currently live in Portland, OR and fly to CA every couple months to continue braces treatment. It is worth every single penny and moment of travel time! You cannot put a price tag on health. I am so thankful for Dr. Hang and his wonderful team!
