Dr. Mason has placed over 4,500 dental implants since completing his implant training in 1989. He has published eight articles in the Journal of the Michigan Dental Association and two others in national dental journals. Dr. Mason is a member of the Deans Faculty at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, teaching in the Graduate Periodontics Clinic. He has lectured numerous times locally and performs surgical procedures at Delta College for the instruction of the dental hygiene students.
Dr. Mason has developed and patented a Palatal Anesthesia Device (PAD) instrument which helps make dental anesthesia more comfortable for the patient. He and his staff have continued to keep abreast of the many advances in periodontics and dental implants.
His professional affiliations include American Academy of Periodontology, Michigan Society of Periodontists, Michigan Periodontal Alumni Association, American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Saginaw Valley, and County Dental Associations.
Dr. Monica A. Lamble has substantial experience in all facets of periodontics and dental implants. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2014 and her Masters in Periodontics in 2017 from the University of Detroit Mercy, and is currently a part-time faculty member teaching in the Universitys Graduate Periodontics program.
She is actively involved in the Michigan Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Michigan Periodontal Association, and the American Academy of Periodontology. Dr. Lamble also has donated her time at the annual Dentistry from the Heart event, which provides free dental services in Metro Detroit.
Four dedicated front desk office professionals support our practice. With over 17 years of experience in the dental or health care field, the front desk staff is a versatile team. Each member is proficient in managing the daily activities of a business.
Megan, who joined our team in 2008, holds a Bachelors Degree from Central Michigan University and an Associates Degree from Delta College. She is certified in CPR and first aid. Megan also teaches Dental Assisting at Delta.
Kristina joined our team in 2017 after working as a front office manager for an orthodontist and a pediatric dentist. She enjoys the medical field and loves interacting with all the patients. In her free time, she enjoys working out as well as spending time with family, friends and her Golden Doodle. She also is a fan of the Detroit Tigers.
Our team is fortunate to have 7 registered dental hygienists on staff with extensive experience in treating patients with periodontal disease and dental implants. All our hygienists have completed the necessary training and requirements to become certified to administer local anesthetics when needed for patient comfort and thorough treatment. They have completed the continuing education requirements and CPR certification necessary for licensure in Michigan.
Danni joined our team in 2018 after graduating from Delta College with an Associates Degree in Applied Science of Dental Hygiene. Dani is certified to administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. She also is certified in CPR and first aid. She is working to earn her Bachelors Degree from Ferris State University.
Danni feels passionate about serving others and loves that Dr. Mason Periodontics creates the perfect atmosphere for helping patients improve their health. I love being able to make even a small difference in my patients lives and creating a trusting environment in which patients are comfortable and relaxed in the dental chair.
MaryAnne studied Dental Assisting at Ferris State University and Dental Hygiene at Lansing Community College. She has worked both as an assistant and as a hygienist at general dental practices and at periodontal practices. Shes been an RDH with our team since 2000.
MaryAnne appreciates the commitment and concern that our team shows for each patient. Dr. Mason and Dr. Lamble are each very knowledgeable, which makes work interesting and fun As a hygienist, I enjoy teaching people about how oral health affects overall health. It is rewarding when patients change their habits due to the care we have provided.
Casandra earned an Associates Degree in Applied Science at Delta College. She also is certified to administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. She received the Crest Leadership Award. Casandra joined our team in 2017.
Casandra appreciates that her job allows her to meet a variety of people and provide quality care to improve their lives. This field was very attractive because of how much one-on-one time you get with your patients to specialize the perfect oral hygiene plan for each individual. As a bonus, Casandra said the team has a great time working together.
Kady earned an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Mott Community College and is certified to administer local anesthesia. She joined our practice in 2000 after working for a decade as a hygienist at a general dental office.
Kady values the education she gains by working with a great team in a specialty practice. I am able to take my skills to the next level in helping treat patients who need great dental care. I love the people that I work with. I also have a great boss who has taught me so much in my 18 years here. The challenges and skills that I have acquired are truly appreciated.
Dr. Mason also employs four full-time dental assistants, including 2 certified dental assistants, 1 registered dental assistant, and 1 registered dental hygienist. Our dental assistants have 31 years of combined experience. The assistants work side-by-side with Dr. Mason and Dr. Lamble.
Kristen joined our team in 2017 and is certified in CPR. Kristen loves that part of her job is meeting a wide variety of people and working with a great team of professionals. In her free time, she enjoys spending time on the lake and with family and friends.
In addition to earning her Associates Degree from Delta College, Heather is certified in CPR and first aid. She joined our team in 2017 after working for 15 years as a dental assistant for an orthodontist and a general dentist.
