I was born in Fall River Massachusetts but moved to Georgia when I was 6.My dental career began more than 25 years ago as an orthodontic assistant. I began working for Dr. Dellinger in 1995 as his assistant then became his office manager in 2000. I take care of all the financial aspects of the business, and manage the front desk and scheduling. Im married, have 3 great kids and 3 adorable grandchildren. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, going to the movies, shopping and vacationing at the beach.

I was born and raised in the Atlanta area. I moved to McDonough in 1987 and graduated from Henry County High School in 1991. During my junior year of high school, I developed an interest in the dental field after visits to my dentist. It was only a couple weeks after I graduated that I was offered a Dental Assistant position with my dentist. I received my Certified Dental Assistant certificate in 1995. I have a passion for dentistry and helping people. My husband and I have been married since 1997 and have a 13 year old son that keeps us very busy. I enjoy the beach, going camping, shopping and spending time with my family and friends. I joined Dr. Dellingers team in 2011. I feel truly blessed to get to do what I love with such a great group of people!

I have been blessed to work in such a wonderful office for 16 years. During my employment with Dr. Dellinger, I have met so many outstanding people. I love my job not only because I try to help patients with dental health, but also because I value the relationships that you form with each patient. I am a Georgia native and in 1991 I graduated from Macon State College with an Associates degree in dental hygiene. I have been married for 19 years and have a wonderful daughter that I adore. When I am not working I love to spend time with family and friends and also hunt deer and turkey and enjoy fishing and other outdoor activities.

Whether you are on a PPO dental insurance plan where you might choose your doctor from a list, or a traditional dental insurance plan, or have no insurance at all, we serve your needs at very affordable rates.

Last year our patients averaged the same out of pocket expenses for a routine cleaning as those who chose to go to a PPO dentist on a list. Also, we offer 10% discounts for uninsured patients. We work hard to keep our dental cleaning fees in line so that we can offer our high quality, gentle dental care to as many patients as possible.

Your insurance dental plan is designed to share in your dental care costs. It may not cover the total cost of treatment due to certain allowances, annual maximums, or limitations. We find that most plans cover between 30 percent and 70 percent of dental services. Dental insurance is meant to offset some costs but typically does not pay for all treatment. Ultimately, the patient is responsible for fees on services rendered. Please contact your benefits director or insurance company with any questions.

I became interested in dentistry after spending my Christmas vacations working in my dads dental office. I came home from my sophomore year in college at UGA and couldnt find a job, so my dad put me to work in his practice. I spent the first morning observing the tasks, duties and conversational skills of his chairside dental assistant. After lunch, he said, Youre up, sit down and assist. I had a crash course in dental assisting, but I also was able to observe what dentists really do every day to help people. I watched my father and his staff help people get out of pain, help them re-gain the ability to chew their food, and help them feel great about the way they look.

Seeing the impact my dad had on his patients was what really attracted me to dentistry. I saw that he and his staff could physically affect another persons well-being, their self-confidence, and their dental health by the use of a particular skill set.

The detailed work also appealed to me, because I have always been a detail guy. But ultimately, I think the thing I liked the most was simply the ability to just help somebody achieve something they could not possibly do for themselves. The opportunity to help people and to heal people is a very appealing aspect of dentistry.

Today, we now know so much about the links between healthy teeth and gums and systemic diseases like cancer, heart disease, strokes and diabetes. Dental care is not just about cavities. We actually can save lives and increase the life expectancy of our patients.

Becoming a dentist took many years of education. And, a burden of educational and practice set-up debt. Practicing the Art of Dentistry is a challenge to be sure, but it has been well worth the effort.

First time visit with Dr Dellinger and WOW.. Was totally impressed from the time I walked in the door. The upfront staff was very welcoming and helpful and Dr Dellinger and his assistants were amazing.. They listened intently to my concerns with my teeth and Dr Dellinger took time thoroughly explaining his findings and was very knowledgeable and caring.. Made me feel at ease knowing I have a dentist I feel comfortable with and can trust after over 30 years with another dentist who thought highly of Dr Dellinger as well...
