Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Wambaugh attended Texas Tech University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology. He then went on to the Baylor College of Dentistry, graduating with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

It has always been Dr. Wambaughs goal to provide the best possible service to our patients and doing it to the best of his abilities and training. By continuing his education, he expands his knowledge and skills to provide the highest level of dentistry and care for our patients.

Dr. Wambaugh completes over 50 hours of continuing education a year, emphasizing improving patient care and services for predictable long-term success. In addition to being certified in Invisalign and sedation dentistry, he studied occlusal disease, cosmetic dentistry with veneers and direct bonding, dental implants, implant-supported dentures, and all phases of complex restorative dentistry.

As part of his continuing studies, Dr. Wambaugh is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Brazos Valley Dental Society, and the Pankey Study Club of Texas.

Dr. Wambaugh loves what we do and enjoys helping the community live healthier, happier lives through dentistry. He provides conservative, long-term solutions to dental concerns for our patients. The cosmetic dentistry we perform results in beautiful smiles that change lives.

Dr. Wambaugh was born and raised in Midland, TX, and has lived and worked in The Woodlands since 1980. He and his wife, Libby, have been married for 39 years and have three children and two grandchildren. His oldest daughter, Ashleigh, is married to Scott, and they live in Arkansas and have two children, Kyle and Calla. His middle daughter is a marriage and family therapist and lives in Los Angeles. His youngest daughter, Allison, is married to Stephen and is a preschool teacher in Houston. They also have two rescue dogs, Jackson, a cocker spaniel, and Bella, a Yorkie.

When he is not working, Dr. Wambaugh enjoys hunting and fishing on the weekends with his friends. He also enjoys traveling with his wife, spending time with his children and grandchildren, collecting antiques, and preparing gourmet meals for his family and friends. He and his wife enjoy discovering new restaurants together and taking walks with their dogs. He is an active member of his church, HopePointe, and stays connected to his community by actively supporting the Montgomery County Food Bank and the South County Dental Clinic, where he provides free care to those in need.

From our hygienists and assistants to the front office staff, our friendly team is made up of people who love making you smile. Some of them have worked in the dental field for more than 30 years, making them extremely qualified to assist you with any question you may have regarding your health, treatment plan, or procedures. Our teams number-one goal is to make your dental experience the very best it can be from the moment you walk through the door.

Danita was born in New Jersey and moved to Texas when she was 15. She has been working for Dr. Wambaugh for more than 31 years! Many of our patients are like family to her. She enjoys getting to know our patients and helping them in any way she can. Outside of the office, Danita enjoys spending time with her six grandchildren.

Janice has worked in the dental field for 37 years, the past 23 with Dr. Wambaugh. When shes not in the office, Janice enjoys fishing, reading, and spending time with her two grandsons, friends, and family.

Brenda was born in Calgary and went to school in Houston. She has been a registered dental assistant for 27 years. She enjoys helping people and making a difference in their lives, something she often did in her previous ICU nursing assistant career. In her personal life, Brenda lives with her two rescue dogs, Maggie and Gus.

Chelsea grew up in Tarkington. She graduated from hygiene school in 2011 and started working with Dr. Wambaugh shortly thereafter. Chelsea is engaged to her best friend Robert with a wedding planned for May 2018. They have a Basset hound who is loved very much. Chelsea enjoys going to the beach and traveling whenever possible.

Terry has worked in dental hygiene for more than 32 years and has spent the past 13+ years with Dr. Wambaugh. She has been married for 30 years and has two sons. In her free time, she enjoys watching her youngest son play baseball.
