Michael Whyte, DDS is a general dentist and founder of Dr. Whyte Smile located in Richmond, Virginia. He is a native of Utah and Washington State. Dr. Whyte received bachelors degrees in both Biology and Economics from Utah State University. He went on to graduat from VCU School of Dentistry in 2013 and has since completed comprehensive Conscious Sedation Training and Certification. Dr. Whytes passion for dentistry is centered in quality work, making connections with people, and alleviating any patients fear or anxiety of dental procedures. His key goal is to help his patients keep their teeth for a lifetime. An avid believer of health and fitness, he enjoys rock climbing, camping, kayaking, hiking, and beachcombing. Emily graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at the VCU School of Dentistry in 2017. She received the prestigious Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award for clinical excellence. She enjoys helping patients achieve optimal oral hygiene. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to new places. Emily is so sweet and very passionate about her profession. If you have her as your hygienist be sure to ask her about all of her pets!
From Chesterfield, VA to Hollywood, CA, Anthonys personality is sure to improve anyones day. He was a patient of our practice prior to joining our team as the chief financial officer. His favorite aspect of dentistry is being able to help patients breakdown barriers in order to attain the smile they have always wanted. Aside from dental aesthetics, Anthony happens to be a licensed esthetician and specializes in all things skincare. One last fun fact, Anthony is also a former NFL Cheerleader for the Baltimore Ravens!
Emma has over a decade of experience in all things healthcare. She grew up in sunny Florida and is the sunshine in our office, even on a rainy day. Emma is an extremely talented phlebotomist and medical assistant. Her multifaceted medical background & clinical skills are especially beneficial when working with Dr. Whyte on sedation & implant cases. Shes passionate about helping anxious dental patients and absolutely loves the beach!
Maya comes to our office with 5 years of dental experience as a dental assistant. She is bilingual, fluent in Arabic and English. She was born and raised in Baghdad and came to the U.S. in 2007. She is passionate about relieving patients pain and anxiety. She loves working chairside with Dr. Whyte to help our patients achieve the smile of their dreams. Maya is wonderful and we cant wait for you to meet her!

Had such a great experience. Staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and so accommodating. I'm a dentists nightmare it's my phobia but he was great.

Dr. Whyte and his staff provided excellent care to myself and my son. This team also went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and special circumstances. As a military family it is very challenging to find this level of care and is even more difficult to have to move and find a team with such a high level of expertise, who truly care for their patients. Dr. Whyte is knowledgeable, gentle, and friendly. His staff are friendly as well, which can really make a difference in the experience. They get the job done and are as accommodating as they can be with the price. I have never had to ask for a discount or rebate. If it is available, they will apply it automatically with no questions asked. I never feel rushed during an appointment, either. I am given the opportunity to have all of my questions asked and answered in great detail. I highly recommend Dr. Whyte Smile!

The best staff on the planet! I mean it! I have been going to Whyte Smiles for two years! After going to a bad dentist that just treated you as "good insurance " Dr Whyte is very professional! And funny as all get out! I recommend to everyone! No pain either !
