Staff and Dr. Porter were all very friendly when I would go. It was especially great for fillings as Dr. Porter does this cheek shaking thing to distract your nerves while doing the numbing shot. It makes it less noticeable while it is happening which helps me due to my fear of needles.

My family and I have been coming to Dr Porter's office for some time now and we have always had the best service. The staff is great and the quality of care has always been one of the best. I never had any issues with them at all until recently. I made appointments for myself and my children for our annual exam/cleaning. Dr. Porter's receptionist, Gayle, got us in as quickly as she could and worked around our busy schedule. Unfortunately, my daughter's appointment was cancelled and rescheduled multiple times. No problem. We went with it. I spoke with Gayle on several different occasions, even going over my insurance information. It was not until after our appointments that we find out that Dr Porter is no longer in network with our insurance as of January 2021 so we were left with a hefty bill. I realize that knowing which doctors are in network with your insurance is your responsibility but it would have been nice if the front desk had mentioned it to me on one of the many phone calls just in case I wanted to find another provider. I felt it was extremely negligent in the customer service aspect of the practice.

Dr Porter and his staff are the best. My teeth feel so great after a cleaning. And any fillings I've had done is painless. Always very friendly. They have been named the best in our area for years and it's well deserved
