I've built my practice by delivering personalized patient care. I feel as though orthodontic treatment is not just about establishing a beautiful smile but also about the relationships we build with our patients and their families. I make every effort to make each patient feel important, comfortable and special while they are in my care.
I truly enjoy being a member of several professional organizations. At meetings I am able to discuss with my peers new techniques, solutions for difficult cases and, in general, build my base of orthodontic knowledge. It is important for me to attend courses in continuing education in order to stay up to date with the latest advancements in orthodontics. This enables me to provide the most modern, effective care for my patients.
One of my greatest joys in life is orthodontics. I am blessed to be a part of an incredible profession. I enjoy creating beautiful smiles for my patients, but I also want to do my part to assist in improving other parts of their lives, too. I believe it is my responsibility to reach beyond my practice, into the community, and help as many people as possible. Orthodontic appliances can be made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to a corrected position. You can choose braces that are clear or metallic color. You can choose the color of the ties that hold the wire in the brackets. Wires are also less noticeable than they used to be and the latest materials move teeth faster and with less discomfort to patients.
Treatment time typically ranges from one to three years, depending on the growth of the patient's mouth and face and the severity of the problem. Patients grow at different rates and will respond differently to orthodontic treatment, so the time to case completion may differ from the original estimate. The patient's diligent use of any prescribed rubber bands or headgear is an important factor in achieving the most efficient treatment. Phase I, or early treatment procedures, may take as few as six months.
Traditional metal braces are the most common type of braces and are more comfortable today than ever before. Made of high-grade stainless steel, metal braces straighten your teeth using metal brackets and archwires. With metal braces, you have the option of adding colored elastics (rubber bands) for a more unique and colorful smile.
Gold braces are similar to traditional metal braces in many ways. They are made of stainless steel, but are uniquely coated in gold. The gold coating may be considered a more cosmetic option than traditional metal braces.
Ceramic braces are made of clear materials and are therefore less visible on your teeth than metal braces. For this reason, ceramic braces are used mainly on older teenagers and adult patients who have cosmetic concerns. While they are visually less prominent, they do require more attention to oral hygiene as ceramic braces are larger and are more brittle than their metal counterparts. For these reasons, ceramic braces tend to be used more on upper front teeth than on lower teeth.

I recently got engaged in April 2019 to the love of my life Alex, and we share a 12yr old son named Masen. In my free time I love being around my family, hanging out at our home grilling and enjoying time with our neighbors. My fianc and I both share a passion for fishing and I love that we get to share that together. We have a handsome fur baby named Rosco! He is a dapple dachshund and we also have 9 longhorns that we raise on our land
Hi, my name is Taylor and I joined Dr. Willett’s team in 2015 as an Orthodontic Assistant. I graduated from TSB in 2014 and received my RDA. What I love most about my job is having the opportunity to help people improve their self-esteem and self-confidence by creating beautiful smiles! I love being able to interact with the patients that come in and build a special bond with them to make sure they have the best experience here at our office!
I have been married to my husband for 2 years. We have two beautiful fur babies named Demi and Stella who we enjoy spending most of our time with! On the weekends my husband and I enjoy going to the mud park together and riding our 4 wheelers
In my free time I enjoy being a dog mom to my 2 fur babies Kylo and Brody! I also love working out, cheering on our local Houston sports teams, reading a good book and volunteering at New Hope Church!
I’ve been in the dental field since 2012 and joined Dr. Willett and her team in June of 2018. After being one of her patients as a young teen, I fell in love with her office and orthodontics in general. Braces did so much for me and my confidence back then, so it is amazing getting to be a part of that for someone else! I love making our patients feel better about showing their smile to the world! Smiling is my favorite!
I married my best friend Christopher in September of 2018 and together we have a beautiful furchild, and her name is Charlie. On the weekends you can often spot us at local restaurants with friends and family. In my spare time we like to binge watch Netflix, cuddle with our pup & play fetch with her at the park.
