Popularly known as your community orthodontist, Dr. Wax has a passion for creating amazing smiles along with giving back to her community. She opened her practice in 2014 in the Fenton/Linden community because it was important to her to be close to family while proudly serving the community in which she grew up. Since her first practice in Linden, MI she has opened practices in Highland and Flushing.
Dr. Waxs passion for orthodontics stems from her personal experience with braces as a teenager. She was very self conscious about her teeth, but after her orthodontic journey, her confidence significantly increased and to this day, she attributes that confidence to succeeding in dental school and life in general.
When Dr. Wax isnt creating beautiful smiles; she loves to spend time outdoors with her fiance Ryan, son Oliver, daughter Everly and her two dogs Gypsy (the one eyed beagle) and Aussie (mini Australian Shepherd).
Dr. Scherer grew up in a small northeast town in Ohio. After graduating college at Harvard University, he graduated top of his class at dental school at the University of Michigan. During his orthodontic residency at the University of Carolina he studied under leading experts in the orthodontic field along with learning the latest orthodontic technologies. He owned his own practice for 6 years near his home town before Dr. Scherer and his wife decided to move back to Michigan to be closer to their family.
When he isnt practicing orthodontics, he enjoys spending time with family and friends. Dr. Scherer loves playing tennis, traveling, watching Michigan sports (Go Blue), and spending time outdoors with his wife, Ellen and two boys, Cameron and Jackson.

Always the best experience at the office. Kind team and warm atmosphere. The visit was fast and painless. All of my questions are always answered. I never feel like I am being rushed. I love everyone I meet here and I am so glad to have picked this place for my Invisalign journey!

Great orthodontist place! My sons teeth look so great! He just got done with phase 1 and everyone was so kind, nice, helpful, knowledgeable. They made my son feel comfortable and made sure he was okay when he was in the dentist chair. They are very involved in the community. Price was best one for his treatment plan in the area. Nice clean facility. Coffee available. Great experience! Will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

Great experience! We have 2 in braces. Very informative and works well with schedules. My daughters teeth look great! Staff are always so friendly! Highly recommend!

Dr. Wax and her entire team are incredible! Being 32, and getting traditional braces was a little embarrassing for me, but their staff made me feel so good about my decision! She works with you to fit your budget, and easy down payments! They always make my day with all the compliments they give me. I don't have a single bad thing to say about them! My son has started his treatment, and my daughter will soon.

Yet another office that overbooks and leaves patients waiting. If all of your clients showed up 30+ minutes late the office would be in pandemonium cancelling appointments and charging for no-shows. I don't care how many good reviews you buy from your patients with promises of gifts on the wall which in itself should be a red flag, this business of leaving people waiting that long is a truly disrespectful practice to the people giving you business. Do better.

I chose Dr. Wax because they had good hours for working parents. I actually pass another orthodontist on my way to their office, but choose them due to their extended hours. I was recently informed they changed their hours and the latest appointment is 4:30 p.m. at all locations. I now have to take off work for all appointments and bound to my contract with them. Seriously disappointed they don't offer one late day!
