Popularly known as your community orthodontist, Dr. Wax has a passion for creating amazing smiles along with giving back to her community. She opened her practice in 2014 in the Fenton/Linden community because it was important to her to be close to family while proudly serving the community in which she grew up. Since her first practice in Linden, MI she has opened practices in Highland and Flushing.
Dr. Waxs passion for orthodontics stems from her personal experience with braces as a teenager. She was very self conscious about her teeth, but after her orthodontic journey, her confidence significantly increased and to this day, she attributes that confidence to succeeding in dental school and life in general.
When Dr. Wax isnt creating beautiful smiles; she loves to spend time outdoors with her fiance Ryan, son Oliver, daughter Everly and her two dogs Gypsy (the one eyed beagle) and Aussie (mini Australian Shepherd).
Dr. Scherer grew up in a small town in Northeast Ohio. After finishing college at Harvard University, he graduated at the top of his dental school class at the University of Michigan. During his orthodontic residency at the University of North Carolina, he studied under leading experts in the orthodontic field while learning the latest in orthodontic technologies. After practicing for 6 years near his home town in Ohio, Dr. Scherer and his wife decided to move back to Michigan to be closer to family.
When he isnt practicing orthodontics, he enjoys spending time with family and friends. Dr. Scherer loves playing tennis, traveling, watching Michigan sports (Go Blue!), and spending time outdoors with his wife, Ellen, and two boys, Cameron and Jackson.

We love Dr wax and now that she's in flushing instead of linden it's so much closer for us. We're so excited for phase 2!!

My kids been going to dr.wax office in flushing mi and they are nice respectful and care about the kids.The ladies at the front desk always make sure you have all the info you need. So happy I found this orthodontist.

Dr wax and all of her staff were nothing less of amazing to us. May 12 year old was scared once she went back, she was just fine. They made her feel at home and just comfortable as she couldn't been. I would recommend these ladies to Everyone! -ps sorry I don't have a pic upload, she hates pictures. But hoping by the time this is all done she well be back to my smiling girl again!

Throughout my current experience of the Dr. Wax team has been nothing short of excellent. Everyone has been very helpful. My initial consult, they were very polite and answered all my questions. The pricing is reasonable even without insurance. Daniella has been an incredible assistant in my journey. I am now 8 months into my 2 year journey and my teeth look amazing.

This is the MOST friendly Doctors office we've ever been to! I am so happy I chose Dr. Wax for my daughters orthodontist. The ladies at the front desk are SO SWEET and my daughter loves them. All of the staff is so nice and we are always in and out really quickly. Love this office!

Dr Wax and her entire team from my first phone call, to my consultation to me almost finished with my treatment have been so amazing. Always pleasant, kind and explain things in a way I understand. Definitely affordable for everyone! I have referred many friends and family and everyone agrees this place is awesome and great at what they do.

I started bringing my 8 year old here a few months ago. He ended up needing an expander and was extremely nervous, but the staff at Dr. Wax Orthodontics and Dr.Wax herself have been so amazing and have put him right at ease. They are so incredibly patient and kind. I would refer Dr. Wax to anyone.

Dr Wax came in and explained every aspect of their mouth, and gave THEM the option to decide which treatment they wanted. For kids to be able to have a say in their treatment plan is HUGE. Dr Wax answered all their questions, and even answered questions they didn't even know they had. My kids (13&9) are so comfortable here that my oldest is getting her braces put on TODAY, which was only supposed to be a consult. I am so confident in the process here, and the staff that overseas my daughters' treatments.

Highly recommend them Ryan was amazing will be telling everyone I know to use them..called thrusday got an appointment today for my daughter she got her braces on same day and fast and love that they work with you on monthly payments great for families

What can I say, just when I thought 5 star service was a thing of the past. The staff at Dr.Wax Orthodontics comes through and changes my perception of life after a world wide pandemic! You can just tell that every single person here care's about you and your family!! I always feel like a celebrity when I come into the office and as I observe others come in, I can tell that they feel the same way. How can you not love a place like this?!! My family will be loyal die hard Dr.Wax fans for life!!
