DR Ward William Clemmons has been practicing dentistry in the Fort Smith area for over 30 years. He has seen manyfamilies and now their children's children in his Implant and General Dental Practice. His primary goal is to treat his patientsin a family-like atmosphere like they were his own. Dr Clemmons has dedicated himself and his practice to the most up todate treatment and philosophies that are the most current in Dentistry. He has devoted countless hours of continuingeducation each year to remain on the cutting edge of dentistry. From general; dentistry to cosmetic and oral implantology, DrClemmons studies current literature and techniques to better serve his patients. He belongs to many professional andacademic groups and societies. He is a Fellow in the AGD ( Academy of General Dentistry) with a few hours left for hisMasters an 1100 multi subject required curriculum.
He is a Board-certified Diplomate in the ABOI/ID ( American Board of Oral Implantology/ Implant Dentistry). The highest level of Dental Implantology recognized in the United States in regard to competence in Oral Implantology. He is an Associate Fellow in the AAID( American Academy of Implant Dentistry).and will go through commencements for Fellow this Fall. This organizations highest level. Dr Clemmons is also recognized in the ICOI(International Congress of Oral Implantologist) as Diplomate status, highest level. From routine Family dentistry to I.V. sedation, Dr Clemmons is here to diagnose and treat your dental needs in a comfortable family oriented atmosphere. There is no doubt Dr. Clemmons loves what he does.
Dr. Clemmons lives in Fort Smith with his wife Ann Marie. They have two boys Sebastian and Christian. Out of the office Dr. Clemmons enjoys yard work and going to see the horses run at Oaklawn . As his patients can tell you , the way to hisheart is a good chocolate chip cookie.
Amy has 28 years experience as a registered dental assistant. Most of those years were spent at the side of Dr. Clemmons as his lead assistant. When you walk through the front door of our office Amy will be the one greeting you by name at the front desk. Amy now works as the Office Manager and considers the staff as her extended family.
The best part of the job for Amy is being the patient advocate. Being in practice with Dr. Clemmons for so many years she has had the pleasure of forming close relationships with patients and enjoys getting to know and help the new patients as well.
Taylor graduated from the University of Arkansas- Fort Smith in 2013 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She began working as Dr. Clemmons' full time hygienist in July of that same year. She enjoys the relationships she has with her patients, helping them improve their oral health, and educating them on the importance of oral health in relation to overall systemic health as well.
Cristi became an RDA in November of 2014, and began working for Dr. Clemmons in December of that same year. She is Dr. Clemmons' lead assistant. Cristi loves meeting new patients and making everyone feel welcome. Her favorite part of dentistry is changing people's confidence through their smiles.
Alison Courtney graduated from Dekalb College in 1989 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She has been practicing Hygiene for 27 years in Dallas, Texas. For the last 21 years she was practicing in the same office until moving to Ft. Smith. She is very experienced in performing gum therapy and is certified in laser gum therapy. Alison loves people and helping them with their oral health care. Alison is assisting Dr. Clemmons chairside until she is certified to practice Dental Hygiene in Arkansas. Although she misses her patients in Dallas, she looks forward to meeting all of the patients in Dr. Clemmons' practice.
