A native of Durham, North Carolina, Dr. Scott graduated from Hillside High School in 1977. He then matriculated at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, where he finished with a BA in History in 1981.
Dr. Scott was accepted to the dental school at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, graduating with his D.D.S. Degree in 1986. From 1986-87, he did a residency at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennesse. Dr. Scott has been a part of the professional community of Fayetteville, North Carolina since 1988.
He has been married to his wife Carolyn since 1988 and they have two adult children. Dr. Scott has been a sports fanatic since childhood, and he follows the Pittsburgh Steelers in football and the North Carolina Tarheels in college basketball. Dr. Scott has done missionary work overseas in the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Liberia, and Ghana providing dental services.

I love Dr Scott and his team! I have been going to Dr Scott for 20 years now and I have always had a great experience. Just like any company there wasn't hiccups with the receptionist but the young lady that's up there now is friendly and amazing!

Do not go!! Unprofessional!!! Dr. Cross is Amazing!!! Dr. Scott needed to retire 5 years ago and is juggling to much including the care that HE is not providing!!! I went back in after Dr.Scott did a few fillings...afterward I had extreme sensitivity and complications with the bonding in between my#13 and #14 molars up top. The service is terrible...the roofs all over has leaks...the chairs are musty and smell. It is God Awful!!! Do not do it...much better in town. Night and day!!!! He walked away from me as he wobbled into the room to see me when I asked "aren't you going to look at the work that you did!?...he walked away from me!?

Scheduled an appointment because they had cancelation from another client. I showed up early and I was there first. But the other cancelation decided to make it after all. They decided to kick me off. Then. I scheduled for another day and they were suppose to call and tell me a price. After three business days of not receiving a call, I cancelled.

They have gotten very unprofessional over the years. Very upset with my self that I moved away for years and came back looking for them and to get terrible service. Please be aware because they lie in order to bill you unnecessarily. I have never heard of a canceled appointment when you show up but they refuse to do the service. Never again will I deal with this unprofessional place ever!

Each and Every Visit has been comfortable and easy.. my appointments are always smooth and the office is ALWAYS TOP NOTCH CLEAN.. They have gotten very unprofessional over the years I don't know what happen but they are NOT trying those front desk ladies the way they need to I had a procedure for wisdom teeth removal on the 29th of June and somehow they "lost" my appt date??? Never again will I deal with this unprofessional place ever!

I would recommend Dr. Scott and his office to all my friends. I took my disabled daughter there and the receptionist was so nice, courteous and professional. Everyone in the office was nice to us both. Would highly recommend. My daughter Ashley loves their office. . Thank you, your kindness is greatly appreciated.
