He practiced in the District of Columbia and Maryland for a while, and he joined the National Health Service Corps in 1995. They assigned him to Mobile, AL, his hometown, where he practiced dentistry at Franklin Primary Health Center for seven years.
In December 2001, Dr. Little opened his private practice in the former site of Dr. Robert Gilliard's 40-year dental practice at 712 South Washington Avenue in Mobile. In time, he moved the practice to its current location at 1020 Montlimar Dr.
In addition to operating a family dental practice that serves young and old alike in Mobile and the surrounding areas, he continues to provide dental services to residents of the Albert P. Brewer Center.

I went in for a cleaning today, I not only got a professional cleaning but Dr. Little also took the time to put flings in three of my front teeth. One came out today while I was eating a piece of candy and left a big gap in my front tooth. I am grateful he was able to do it today. Now I feel comfortable talking and smiling.

Great,Dr Little and assistant made me feel so comfortable. My wait time was about 5 minutes. Friendly Staff and Great Doctor that has a lot of patience and a kind heart . They extracted one of my teeth and I was very,very please. Worst experience He made my Gold tooth to big and when I went to my dentist she said he should fix it if he a dentist even it over 6 months The cap of took doesn't even fit my tooth I would never in my life go back to this place he doesn't know what he doing or how to fit tooth to actually match your teeth now I got get fix call around pay get what his sorry work it get right . Pathetic Dr Walter shouldn't be doing gold if you can't get it match the person actually took shame on you doctor shame .
