Dr. Robert C. Harger is a 3rd generation dentist who received his Doctorate from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska in 1997. He has an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Baylor University.
Dr. Harger has continued his studies completing numerous post-graduate courses in Functional and Aesthetic Dentistry. He is committed to providing the highest quality of comfortable dental care to his patients.
Elizabeth Grimm DDS is an enthusiastic Austin native. She completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2007 where she also received her invisalign certification. She continued her education with a hospital based general practice residency before going into private practice in Austin. In 2015 Dr. Grimm broadened her education to include holistic dentistry after she personally experienced the positive effects of ozone in dentistry. In 2016 she completed the American College of Integrative Medicine and Dentistry where she received both her Integrative Biological Dental Medicine and Naturopathic Physician certifications.
Dr. Grimm considers herself incredibly fortunate to do what she loves! She gets to create healthy beautiful smiles and make lasting connections with people. Her passion is holistically integrating the art of dentistry with the latest advancements in technology and science. She utilizes ozone, a safe mercury amalgam removal technique, laser, digital impressions, biocompatible materials, same day crowns, veneers, snore guards, and invisalign amongst other things. She is a lifetime learner and is always looking to stay on the top of her game.
Shoal Creek Dental and Dr. Robert C. Harger are sad to announce the retirement of Dr. W. David Jenkins after serving his patients for 45 years. However bittersweet, It is much deserved and he will be greatly missed. Dr. Jenkins gave Dr. Harger the opportunity more than 20 years ago to partner with him and they never looked back. Not only did they form a wonderful partnership, but a friendship. Thank you Dr. Jenkins for your dedication to your staff and patients at SCDC for all those years.
David and his family enjoy horses, music, computers, video editing, running, snow skiing, golf and current events. He and his wife, Linda, have been blessed with a daughter and a son, both of whom are extremely creative and talented.
Dr. Chad Orlich was born in Houston, Texas. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences at The University of Washington in Seattle. While in Seattle, he helped organize the first nationally recognized pre-dental club for the university. He earned his doctorate in dental medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Orlichs National Board scores placed him in the top 4% of all dentists and earned him a spot in one of the most sought after periodontal programs in the country. Dr. Orlich dedicated the next three years of his life studying periodontics and dental implants.
He was trained by some of the countries best periodontist and dental implant experts. Dr. Orlichs expertise and clinical skill earned him the position of chief resident. He also served as a clinical adjunct teacher for dental students at Nova Southeastern University, and he has performed multiple lectures and seminars for both graduate and post graduate dental students. After his specialty training in periodontics and advanced dental implant placement, Dr. Orlich , returned to Texas to practice in the Austin area.
Jennifer Keeton Eganhas been a hygienist at SCDC for 20 years. She graduated with a BS in Dental Hygiene from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1996. She enjoys staying active, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and keeping up with the local foodies.
Leo: I love my job as a hygienist; I love the interpersonal patient interaction, the tactilely detailed work of cleaning teeth, and displacing patient anxiety by various means so that my patient feels renewed by their dental visit rather than dread in hopes that their dental experience positively influences their immediate world to improve our society at a local level. Apart from work, I love worshipping God the Father and Jesus, His beloved Son, with my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ at River in the Hills Church. I also love to play lots of 2 versus 2 beach volleyball, working out, shopping, gaming, and target practice, but mostly beach volleyball so you will often find me at Zilker park when the sun is out!
