We care for families from Los Angeles, West Covina, and the surrounding communities of Hollywood, West Hollywood, Los Feliz, Silverlake, Walnut, Rowland Heights, Diamond Bar, Glendora, La Puente, Covina, Irwindale, Baldwin Park, and City of Industry.
Our skilled, compassionate team, under the guidance of Dr. Vivian C. Banaria, manages everything from regular cleanings and exams for the whole family to cosmetic dentistry, clear aligners, and whitening.
We treat each patient as we would treat our family member. When you become one of our patients, you are part of our family. Banaria Dental Group focuses on providing our patients with gentle and effective oral care. We help our patients get over their dental fears and cope with their treatment so they can have the smile they deserve to help them look and feel their best.
Dr. Banaria graduated from the University of the East in the Philippines, where she obtained her D.M.D. degree. She was awarded her dental license by the Dental Board of California in 2007 and in 2008 she started working as an Associate Dentist in Chino, CA. In 2013, she started her own private practice in Los Angeles. She recently started her second location in West Covina, May of 2019.
She is also committed to giving back to the community. She understands that she has an obligation to be more than just a dental service provider. She donates her time and service to local pre-schools and elementary schools, teaching the children the importance of dental health. She also participates in School Career Days, where she educates students about careers in dentistry

Banaria Dental, my family and I have been a loyal customers for over 10 yrs. I've always been a cash customer and prices have always been very reasonable. I changed dentists because my previous dentist wanted to charge me $3,200 for 4 crowns on top of my insurance becausehe said my teeth were cracked. If I remember correctly at the time I only paid $800 at Banaria Dental because she said I only had 2 teeth that had to be crowned. Recommend them to all my friends and family.

Dr. Gno was friendly and reassuring. He carefully assessed the symptoms and came up with a plan that made sense and set my mind at rest. The entire staff was helpful and welcoming. I was so nervous about trying a new dentist, but they did a great job, and i feel confident about the plan going forward

I came here with high hopes based on the slough of outstanding reviews I've seen. I was not disappointed. check-in took a little longer than expected. I waited almost an hour from the time I sat down while reception called my insurance/filling out paperwork. This left a bad taste in my mouth (lol) and almost deterred me from coming back. When the dentist and assistant had me in the chair and began working on me however, I received the utmost attention, kind compliments, and genuine gentle care. This experience after being seated changed my outlook and thats why i'm giving this place 5 stars. I left feeling happy, confident, and uplifted. Don't expect coming here and seeing shiny new equipment either. most of it is vintage and worn but the work and care is top notch and professional which matters more to me.

Never even made it to see a dentis!! I called them over a week in advance and when I arrived for my apt I was informed they were having trouble verifying my insurance which ok no problem but this should have been done the week before the apt not after I drove 30 minutes wasted my day off to accomplish nothing! Very unprofessional and sloppy !!!

Taking off four stars because for the SECOND time the front desk is unclear and clearly very unsure about what a patient's insurance covers. I should not be told my insurance covers 100% and then be surprised at an unexpected bill. The last time this occurred was for a routine teeth cleaning-your front desk person at the time told me it was covered and I was charged. Your secretary or MA did the same thing this time and I was charged even more, even though I initially TRIED to refuse X-rays because I had a feeling this would happen. PLEASE do your research and give patients an honest breakdown of coverage before performing and charging for services! Otherwise dentist is great.

Today was my first visit to Dr. Banaria's office. I loved the cleanliness of the lobby and the decor was cute as well. I appreciated the prompt timing of the admin that enrolled us and made sure we didn't have any unanswered questions. The dental assistant and dentist were polite, gently and informative! I'm more than pleased with their service!
