He ran a private practice for twenty years and later decided to relocate to the United States in 1997. He resumed his professional studies upon arrival and transitioned into Nova Southeastern University in 1999 through 2002 where he obtained his DMD degree.
In 2004, he launched his first private practice here in Naples, and has been practicing here ever since. His extensive experience of 40 years includes all areas of dentistry from general dentistry (restorative) to implant technology and cosmetic dentistry.
Recently, in January of 2015, his success allowed him to relocate to a larger office space to accommodate his growing patient family. In his spare time, he is passionate about playing and enjoying soccer and tennis. He also dabbles in amateur photography when he has downtime.

Best place in town, and the entire team is amazing. Dr. Vegara made the treatment process for my dental implants very flexible. He and his team took their time to explain the procedure step by step. The level of professionalism was outstanding. I will recommend Dr. Vegara and his team to my family, friends, and just anyone looking for an amazing dental experience.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr Vergara and his staff. I was visiting from Ohio where I was quoted 3x the price that I was actually charged at Dr Vergara's for the same amount of work! So I would travel to beautiful Naples, FL any day for dental work here. I needed quite a bit of work, so I had to come back 3 days in a row. They were extremely professional, efficient and did a tremendous job. By the third day, I was treated like an old friend. They started working on me as soon as I arrived. Everything was top notch from the service to the facilities and the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. Also, my fiance, who is from Naples, has been going to Dr Vergara's for almost a decade -- she is treated like family when she walks in. It is nice to see places care about their patients the way they do here. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back...all the way from Ohio.

I hate going to the dentist. I was traumatized as a child, and it is very hard to let go of the anxiety when I'm sitting in that chair. Dr. Vergara and his lovely staff have completely changed that for me. They have done extensive work on my teeth and I have been comfortable with them every step of the way. Dr. Vergara is a great dentist. He has always been polite, considerate, and above all, gentle when working on my teeth. His staff are wonderful as well and his office is updated and very clean. I'm not sure what more you could ask for in a dentist. I highly recommend him.
