Dr. Veronica F. Miller, originally from Cochabamba, Bolivia, is a general and cosmetic dentist who is fluent in both English and Spanish. She and her family have been in the Washington, D.C. Metro area for almost 20 years.
Since her early years, Dr. Miller has wanted to be a dentist and, after completing her B.S. in Biology from the University of Maryland, College park, she was accepted into Temple Universitys Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA. After graduation from dental school in 2003, Dr. Miller completed a one-year General Practice Residency (GPR) at St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, PA, where she received further training treating patients of all ages and medical conditions in a hospital setting.
Dr. Miller has been in private practice for over 15 years and truly privileged to be serving families in Northern Virginia and surrounding areas. Dr. Miller has extensive experience in crown and bridge restorations using traditional materials, as well as cosmetic, non-metal ceramics. Dr. Miller also excels at performing anterior (front-teeth) cosmetic restorations, including veneers, and dental implant restoration.
Dr. Eiman Khalili is our Endodontist. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry in 2011. NYU is also where he completed the Advanced Education Program of Endodontics in 2013. Upon completion of his Endodontic residency, he relocated to Midwest where he practiced full-time for two years before moving to the area.
Dr. Khalili enjoys working with patients to help them feel relaxed and comfortable before, during and after their dental procedure. Patients are often nervous before having root canals or other dental work, but Dr. Khalili is able to help them feel comfortable so they have a much better experience. Nothing makes him happier than hearing patients tell him how happy they are with the pain relief they experience after working with him. Dr. Khalili prides himself on building strong relationships with his clients and using cutting edge technology to help ensure the best possible results and highest client satisfaction.
One thing that really differentiates Dr. Khalili as a dental professional is how he is able to provide excellent client service throughout the entire process. He talks with patients early in the process to answer questions and explain the procedure and then follows up with them after the procedure to ensure they are happy with the results. Dr. Khalili is very passionate about the work that he does and that is evident in the way he works with patients and in the high quality dental results he is able to provide.
Dr. Mahsa Abdolhosseini, Board Certified Periodontist, started her journey in the field of dentistry in 1996. She continued this path at the University of Pennsylvania and received her specialty certificate in Periodontics, Implant Dentistry and Masters in Oral Biology. She was awarded the J. George Coslet Scholarship during her post-doctoral studies from University of Pennsylvania Peroidontics Department, where she now serves as Clinical Assistant Professor. She has received the Distinguished Teaching Award in 2019 from University of Pennsylvania, and American Academy of Periodontology Award for Outstanding Teaching and Mentoring in Periodontics in 2020.
Dr. Mahsa is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and an active member of American Academy of Periodontology. She has extensive experience in traditional periodontics as well as cutting edge regenerative treatment, dental implant surgery and cosmetic periodontal plastic surgery procedures, but more importantly she considers empathy, demystifying concerns and educating her patients to be the foundations of quality care.
Dr. Roopa Gulati ('Dr. G') has been bringing smiles to her patients ' faces for over 20 years. As a graduate of The New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry, she completed her residency at a Level 1 trauma hospital in Brooklyn, NY where she gained supplemental expertise in treating rare and serious dental injuries. She is licensed to practice in New York, D.C., Maryland and Virginia.
Dr. Gulati enjoys treating patients in private practice where she delivers preventive and cosmetic dental care to help patients achieve and maintain beautiful smiles and comfortable chewing. Her goal is to create a positive and comfortable experience for every patient while providing the highest standard of care using the most advanced dental technology and evidence-based techniques.

Dr. Gulati currently resides in McLean , VA with her husband and two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, Agatha Christie mysteries, Sudoku puzzles, Orange Theory workouts, socializing with friends, and of course spending quality time with her family.

The Doctor and her staff are very courteous and professional. My procedure started on time. My visit was very pleasant considering the circumstances! This dentist has the latest in equipment so they can do a crown in one appointment, having made a large investment in automated equipment. No need to ever again go to a dentist for a crown who does not have the equipment in house to make the crown in their office and do everything in 3-4 hours with no return visit needed.

Dr. Miller is the most caring, warm, and best dentist I have ever had. You will not find a dentist who cares so much about her patient's needs, feelings, and comfort. Along with these personal qualities is her dedication to state of the art equipment, training and professional skills. Dr. Miller will always be my dentist as long as she is practicing. Dr. Miller and the staff at Downtown Vienna Dental are great! The office staff are welcoming and Dr. Miller is very patient and calm. I trust her completely with the care of my teeth and would never consider going anywhere else. I personally have a history of negligent dentists and due to this I avoided dental appointments as much as possible. Since going to Downtown Vienna Dental, I have not missed a cleaning or procedure. They are incredibly gentle and accommodating. I would recommend this dentist and office to everyone!

I have been going to Dr. Miller's office for years and had good experience in general. However, my most recent visit is a total disaster and I am super disappointed by the way they are handling it. I was there to do a routine cleaning, and Dr. Miller recommended another doctor (Dr. Pacios) for the appointment because I have gum issue and she's a specialist. However, Dr. Pacios is not in my insurance's network, but I assumed routine visiting isn't going to be that costly and if there are additionally works are needed, then we can discuss options. My insurance has a pretty large network of doctors anyway. So when I went to the office for visit, before performing any check. Dr. Pacios told me that I should do a deep clean instead. She even said that "it would be unethical for me to do the regular clean for you as it won't be useful". Remember this is without any check, so she's based on the same information Dr. Miller had to make the judgement. So back in my mind I am thinking, if Dr. Pacios is right, doesn't it mean Dr. Miller is either incompetent or unethical to schedule me the regular cleaning in the first place? Anyway, I didn't say anything like that of course. I mentioned to her that I am here to do the regular cleaning and I understand that she's not in my network. So if I need to do deep clean, I would rather do it with someone who's in my network (in fact, I have done deep clean before in Dr. Miller's office by someone who's in my network) either in this office or in other office. Dr. Pacios insisted on the deep clean and told me your insurance is good, it actually won't cost much more than in-network doctor. So I asked for an estimate (remember, at this point, they have all the insurance information and the procedure they are planning to do), and the estimate come back at ~$400, a bit expansive than the in-network doctor as I remembered (maybe something like ~$300), but not by much. So I said fine, let's just do it. Everything went fine for the procedure, but then the bill starts to come. First bill came back for something like $600 additional. Then I called the office, they told me don't worry about, it was billed with the wrong code and they are sorting it out with the insurance company. Then 1 month later, I get another bill, this time is $550 more, and when I called the office. They said they estimated wrong that day, my insurance actually pays a different rate than they expected and now I am on hook for the additional fee. So because the mistake they have made, now I am suppose to pay whatever amount that the doctor wants to add? Anyway, I don't think I am going back there anymore. Lesson of the day, stay within your network and don't be fooled by the estimates.

My new Dentist! I Recently switched Dental services because my dentist was retiring. Dr. Miller's Downtown Vienna Dental was wonderful. A beautiful office and a relaxing atmosphere made it much easier to get a checkup. Dr. Miller was gentle and thorough. The office manager Julie transferred my records and billed my insurance company directly. It was a pleasant experience! Six years of great service! I just thought I would update my review. Still the best dentist around!

We highly recommend this place if you are looking for caring and attentive staff who offer a great service. Our children love coming here, they are particularly great at making the experience fun and stress-free for the younger ones. I've always been impressed with the level of care and attention to detail they are afforded to me. Anyone who asks me for a dentist in our area, I send them to Downtown Vienna Dental.

I left Dr. Miller's office after a similar experience to reviewer Mj K, but have since had other problems. I had made a 7 AM appointment for my 6 month cleaning and even though I confirmed it on the Wednesday before, they had cancelled my appointment and given it to someone else saying that I had not confirmed early enough and then offered me another appointment in the middle of my workday. The receptionist was really snooty. There was another receptionist who did apologize and try to get another appointment time for me after the fact, but Dr. Miller did not reach out to me. Another issue that I had with the desk was they could have scheduled appointments such that I could have my dental work spread out over the end of one calendar year and the beginning of the next, but they did not. I told them before that did not want to pay out of pocket if I did not have to, but ended up having to pay for something that could have been covered by insurance. Most recently, I had a crown done by Dr. Miller that is less than 5 years old fall out twice in two months. I am not currently close to Vienna, VA and Dr. Miller's desk refused to reimburse me to have another crown made or for costs related to falling out. Her receptionist said that Dr. Miller would probably refer me to have crown lengthening done. When I talked to the second dentist, he did not recommend that I see a periodontist for crown lengthening (at least not as the first thing), but he said that if it did continue to fall out to have it remade as the fit was not ideal. I have a small mouth and a gag reflex which made it difficult to have the procedure done, so maybe it was tougher to do, but I was able to find another dental office, Dr. Kowshik Vaddi in Tysons, who knew very well how to handle gag reflexes. I was not told that I would have so many problems with this tooth. So far, I have not had problems with Dr. Miller's other work and I liked her hygienists although I would ask for a second opinion before getting major work done. Dr. Miller would advertise procedures not covered by insurance like teeth whitening and I was once asked by the hygienist if I wanted to pay extra for velascope oral cancer screening even though 95% of oral cancer happens after age 40 and oral cancer is only about 3% of all cancers. You are free to decline though and it is not a huge cost given the unlikely event that you do have oral cancer under age 40 when you don't drink a lot, smoke, etc. I never felt pressured to buy extra services and told Dr. Miller that I was more interested in the health of my teeth rather than a smile makeover so she never asked me. She did give me a nice toothbrush as the result of winning a drawing and she has this flat credit card sized dental floss that you get The fluoride paste she prescribed me was not the cheapest, but it still did not break that bank at $8 for a small tube.

The absolute best and most caring Dentist I have ever met in my entire life. My son and I came here 6 years ago with a fear of "the chair" and prior to meeting her we had to have the funny gas to help us relax to have anything performed. Dr. Miller changed our lives; she has the most amazing approach and you can see it in her eyes, she was born to be a doctor caring for people. She is not only beautiful, kind and the most gentle person I have ever met, she talks you through every step while you are in her care. Her staff, is hands down extremely caring and accommodating, it's obvious that Dr. Miller is selective when it comes to her staff. Tiffany who runs the front office is also a direct reflection of Dr. Miller, she takes that extra sweet step to make sure you understand what insurance covers and what to expect for your next visit. Tiffany is very thorough and professional and the best part, she always greets everyone with a smile. It is a great way to make an impact on someone's day. Thank you Dr. Miller and Team, my cup runneth over with love and joy for you guys!

Drs. Miller, Pascios, and Khalili are amazing and the dental assistants and office staff are tremendous. I was new to the practice just a few months ago when I needed to have some significant cosmetic dental work done requiring all three specialists. The entire staff worked as a team. I have truly felt like they are my team, all there to help get me through the process. They are kind, understanding, and caring. Tiffany, Marjan, Brandon, Carla, and the rest of the office are all there for one purpose: to help the patients. I always feel comfortable and welcome going into the office even when I know the procedure could be painful. They are great at explaining everything and answering all of my questions. This is the model for what all medical offices should be. I could not have hoped for anything more.
