Dr. Verne Ticknor DDS holds a B.S. from the University of Michigan and is a proud alumnus of the University of Michigan's School of Dentistry. He is an active member of the Michigan Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and American Dental Society and has past experience acting as the president of the Kalamazoo Valley District Dental Society.

Laurie is our Insurance Specialist and has worked in the dental field for 11 years. She and her husband recently moved to South Haven and enjoy boating and traveling. In her spare time, Laurie enjoys crafting and selling her creations at local craft shows. We are happy to have Laurie joining our great team.
Kelly moved here from Illinois three years ago with her husband and three beautiful daughters, however she has spent her summers in Michigan for over 20 years. During the past she has worked closely as an Assistant for a Cosmetic Dentist, Orthodontist, and an Endodontist.
Brooke was born and raised in West Branch, MI and just moved to Coloma with her fianc. She is so excited to serve our community. Her gentle touch and friendly demeanor will make your visit delightful.
Katie is one of the newest members of our team. She received her Associates in Dental Hygiene as well as a Bachelors degree in Allied Health Science from Ferris State University where she graduated with honors.
Born and raised in Coloma, MI, Katie now resides in St. Joseph with her boyfriend, Charlie and their dog, Oscar. Her hobbies include, playing and coaching softball and spending time with family and friends.

No...RUN don't walk from this OLD dentist. He fixed a broken filling and it HURT the whole time. When he was done he said it was perfect. The next time I came in for a cleaning, he looked at that tooth and said whoever did that was a HACK and it needed a crown, because it could break at any time. I had to remind him that HE did it. Yuck. Too old, bad skills, time to retire.

I am a complete wimp when it comes to mouth pain. Dr Ticknor and his staff are patient, caring and make me feel as comfortable as possible. The hygienists, assistants, and office staff are all top notch.

My experience with Dr.Verne was awesome. He was very professional, caring, down to earth and he provided great feedback on what needed to happen in order for me to obtain the best results. The Office Manager and Dental Assistant was very professional and friendly. They made sure everything went smoothly. I finished within a timely manner. No complaints from me. What a nice experience!

Friendly hometown atmosphere. My hygienist was thoughtful and patient with me as I have a chronic gag reflex. As always, I was able to get through the cleaning without any discomfort or uneasiness. Excellent service and care.

Dr. Ticknor is wonderful, and reasonably priced. The hygienists are always gentle and thorough and the office staff is very helpful. Everyone I've ever recommended to this office has been equally pleased and appreciate how quickly they manage to squeeze in new patients.

I had my first appointment with Brooke to clean my teeth and with Dr Ticknor for a checkup. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and I ended up feeling very comfortable; as if I'd known them longer.
