Dr. Nick Van Zyl has taken many advanced dental training courses. He has obtained a fellowship in Neuromuscular Dentistry at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI). This accomplishment enhances Dr. Van Zyl's ability to provide exceptional dentistry to his patients, a claim less than 700 dentists worldwide can make. He is also an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists. This accreditation is the credential that sets the standard for excellence in cosmetic dentistry. His team of professionals has also received advanced training and has experience in dentistry that is unmatched. We have hygienists and assistants with more than thirty years of experience in dentistry.

Dr. Nick is an excellent dentist. I have had teeth pulled and didn't realize that he was done. His office staff is A-1 also. Friendly and they deliver great customer service. It is hard to get the full package from a doctor's office . One or the other normally needs to be worked on. But taken my advice and give Dr. Van Zyl and his staff a try.

I have been going to Dr. Van Zyl for almost a year now. When I first came to the office the staff was friendly. Loved the service and Dr. Van Zyl is a great dentist and oral surgeon. It has been the best until now. My insurance is complicated and they can be hard to deal with and I will jump in where I need to and make sure they do what they are supposed to do, but lately the staff at the office has been hard to deal with. I recently called the office to get an understanding of services that I had and will be having and spoke to Katie. I called to inquire about my out of pocket cost for past and future services. As we were discussing it a comment on Katie's part advised that the last experience, I had with being charged incorrectly sounded as if it was her mom (who works at the office) that had assisted me. I explained to her the situation and she advised that what I was saying didn't sound like her mom. I said to her "mom or not" and before I could finish, she rudely advised that she was putting me on hold. Then Dr. Van Zyl comes to the phone and uses a rude tone to try and intimidate me into accepting Katie's POOR customer service!!!! Now let me say I have a strong personality, but it seems that unless you agree with them 100%, they will give you the cold shoulder. I was advised by Dr. Van Zyl that as long as I cooperate with his staff then everything will be fine. I really took that as a threat. I am very well acquainted with insurance. I used to work in the medical field until I decided that I wanted a change. So, I fully understand ALL of it!!!!! But I have always been told if you give good service you get it and if you give bad service you get that back as well. I am the last to leave reviews of this nature, but people should know that unless you abide by their rules without questioning anything you will be treated and greeted with BAD customer service!!!!

I have been a patient here since I was a child. Dr. VanZyl and his staff have been nothing but warm, welcoming, and friendly. His front office staff make you feel at home right when you walk in. I'd go as far as to say they treat you like family. Their customer service has been nothing but professional and courteous. I highly recommend this practice.

I have been a patient of this practice for 12 years. Dr. Van Zyl is an effective communicator, has a gentle touch and is brilliant in dental technique. I appreciate his conservative approach to dental care. He does not perform unnecessary services. He has the most modern equipment in the industry. Dr. Van Zyl and his highly professional staff, from the front desk to the treatment room, function at a high level as a team. . The clinical team is knowledgeable and dedicated to patient service. The entire office is incredibly clean and organized. It is easy to feel safe and comfortable in the lovely office ambiance.

From historical perspective they are always prompt, friendly and respectful of my time. That said, due to covid concerns, my last visit was cancelled, in that my wife is particularly immuno-compromised. Since covid is going to be with us for a long time, I have confidence that they will have put into place all protective measures one could hope for

Excellent dentist. Has always tried the least invasive techniques first! High attention to detail. Extremely good at administering Novocaine! The best I've ever had!
