A native of Great Falls, Dr. Uppasna Chand attended Langley High School in McLean, Virginia. Her undergraduate education was earned atVirginia Tech, from which she graduated in 2002. Dr. Chand then continued on toVirginia Commonwealth Universityfor dental school, graduating in 2009 with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Continuing her education both in-person and online, Dr. Chand has attended courses on occlusion and Invisalign, in addition to all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry. She is committed to staying up-to-date on the newest trends in dental technology.
Currently residing in Vienna, Virginia with her husband, Samir, Dr. Chand loves spending time with her family. Her other interests include reading a good book, being outdoors, bike riding, watching movies, and trying new restaurants in the area.

Dr. Shawdi Assar attended the University of Maryland, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Physiology & Neurobiology in 2002. She then graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she received a Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2006. She scored in the top percentile on her Board Examinations. During her more than 10 years of practice, Dr. Assar has worked in Maryland, North Carolina, and Virginia. She is a General Dentist with a strong interest and experience in Cosmetic dentistry and Invisalign. Dr. Assar is very involved in the dental community and remains up-to-date on the latest dental trends and technologies through her participation in various national conferences and professional organizations. Through her understanding of biomaterials and artistic nature, Dr. Assar provides top quality aesthetic results to her patients.

During her free time, Dr. Assar enjoys painting, drawing, and poetry. She lives nearby in the lovely Vienna community with her husband and two children where you can regularly find her cheering them at their sporting events.

Dr. Arbabi completed her undergraduate studies at Marymount university. She then attended the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2011. To further expand her skills, she completed a one-year residency in advanced education in general dentistry at University of Maryland, School of dentistry where she received training in cosmetic dentistry, Implant dentistry (both surgical and restorative) and endodontics. She is a life-long learner who attends continuing education courses in all facets of general dentistry including Invisalign, rotary endodontics, and dental sleep medicine.
Dr. Arbabi lives in the beautiful Mclean community with her husband and daughter. In her free time, she enjoys Pilates and entertaining friends and family while trying new recipes. She loves traveling, learning new cultures and enjoying new cuisines.
