Dr. Tyrus Gerald Montgomery, was born in Newark, New Jersey. He graduated with a BA form Hampton University of Hampton, Virgina. He received his Doctor of Medicine Dentistry (DMD) from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He did his residence at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Washington DC. After completion of his residence, he opened his office in Clinton, MD. He served as the Division Chief Officer at Southern Maryland Hospital for many years and served as Maryland State Dental Director. Dr. Montgomery served on many Board of Directors and member serveral of Professsional Association, American Dental Association (ADA), National Dental Association (NDA) International Collage of Implantologist (ICOI) Special Care Dentistry Association (SCDA) and American Association of Hospial Dentistry (AAHD). Today, he has his own practice, located in Bowie, MD.

Dr Montgomery is very patient and assures that you're in a relaxed state while he perfects your smile. I felt welcomed from the minute I walked through the door and I didn't wait long to see the doctor. If you're hesitant about going to the dentist, you'll definitely want to schedule an appt here.

I started going to Dr. Montgomery this year after quite a long time of not going to the dentist. This is the best dentist I've ever been to. Dr. Montgomery is friendly, informative, and skilled. He has an excellent front desk receptionist, she makes you feel like family. And his staff are great people. The dental assistant DD was so friendly and gentle. She took her time and made sure to get everything right the first time. I highly recommend this dentist office.

I have to say this is by far the best dentist I've ever had work on me. He's friendly, professional, and just an overall great doctor. The staff is great as well. I would highly recommend Silverspoon Dental to everyone and their family.
