Dr. Thomas enjoys meeting with his patients each day and regards them as extended family members, doing his best to ensure they are as comfortable as possible. His goal as a dentist is to deliver quality comprehensive dental care to patients in a welcoming and enjoyable environment.
Dr. Thomas has been practicing dentistry for over 15 years Kirkland and Mercer Island. Outside of Dentistry, Dr. Thomas enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and relaxing outside enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
Dr. Jessie Zou is a native of the PNW, originally from Seattle. She is a two-time UW Husky graduate, having completed her undergraduate education with a Bachelors degree in Biochemistry and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. Dr. Zou enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and brings a genuine approach when treating her patients. She believes that effective communication is the key to empowering patients to take charge of their dental health. She commits to treating patients as a whole and advocating for their health, recognizing every patient is unique, to provide a trulypatient focused experience. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Zou enjoys biking, traveling, and exploring the Seattle outdoors and food scene!
Dr. Jaswal completed his dental degree (DMD) in Chicago where he had the opportunity to work at multiple under-served clinics in Chicago, helping patients with complex medical histories and special needs. Dr. Jaswal is excited by the innovation and technological advancements in dentistry andis currently working on his Mastership through the Academy of General Dentistry. When he is away from the office he loves to spend time playing basketball, watching Seahawks football, and spending time with family. He is also an avid reader and if you have any suggestions for books to read, let him know! Hes always looking for new topics to learn about.
A dental hygienist for over 30 years, Marna has been with Thomas Dentistry since 2012, and became our office manager in 2017. Cheerful and compassionate, Marna strives to build lasting relationships with our patients, never forgetting a face, or a tooth for that matter.
Originally from Ethiopia, Nesi has been with Thomas dentistry since 2007. A graduate of Lake Washington Institute of Technologys dental assisting program, Nesi is a highly capable and experienced dental assistant with over 11 years of experience. Nesi strives to ensure that all our patients leave 100% satisfied.
She particularly enjoys working with children, creating comfortable, fun visits that make the dental office a positive place for kids. Nesi enjoys cooking, shopping, and hiking Washingtons scenic trails. Nesi also speaks Amharic.
Rosie moved to Washington from Kansas one year ago and has become a strong asset to our team. Rosie began her dental career as an assistant, and brings nearly 15 years of experience to our practice. She graduated in 2008 with a Bachelors in Dental Hygiene from Pittsburg State University, where her son is now a junior. Rosies patients love her friendly personality and her practical approach to patient education. In her free time, Rosie enjoys trying new foods and spending time with her fianc Michael and her Yorkie, Rey. Rosie tambien habla espanol.
I have been with Thomas Dentistry since February 2019. I started my dental assisting career in 1992, by joining the US Army and serving for 10 years, enjoying all aspects of dentistry. After being in the Army, I attended Seattle Vocational Institute to gain more knowledge of dental assisting. My favorite part of the job is tosee the positive changes that quality dentistry can make in a persons life.
Elena joined the Thomas Dentistry team in 2019. Each day she arrives at the office with a smile on her face and strives to make her patients visit a positive experience. Elena is very thorough in her work and takes care to listen to individual patient needs. Her passion for good oral hygiene extend past the office, she likes to educate her family and friends on the importance of healthy oral care habits.
Molly enjoys talking with people and getting to know our patients as new friends. She is originally from North Carolina where she lived on an island off of the coast. Molly moved to the Seattle area in 2009 and when not working, she tries to get out doors as much as possible and will find any excuse to find a beach. Molly hastwo bunnies, Frankie and Charlie and two puppy nieces Sunny and Dottie.
Dr. Jaswal is an official Pacific North Westerner! Born near Vancouver, BC, Canada and then raised in Seattle, WA. He finished up his undergraduate studies at PLU in Tacoma and then went on to complete his dental degree (DMD) in Chicago. He had the opportunity to work at multiple under-served clinics in Chicago, helping patients with complex medical histories and special needs. After graduating, Dr. Jaswal worked in Kent where he honed skills in surgical extractions, implant placement, endodontics, and a multitude of other procedures. This experience gave Dr. Jaswal the confidence to execute complicated procedures with efficiency and great clinical results.
Dr. Jaswal is currently working on his Mastership through the Academy of General Dentistry, which involves over 1,100 hours of CE, and hes an active part of the Washington AGD MasterTrack study club that meets every 2-3 months throughout the year to discuss hot topics in dentistry. When completed, the distinction is held by about 2% of dentists in the US and Canada.
