Our office, as well as the The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) all recommend establishing a 'Dental Home' for your child by one year of age. Children who have a dental home are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral health care.

You can make the first visit to the dentist enjoyable and positive. If old enough, your child should be informed of the visit and told that the dentist and their staff will explain all procedures and answer any questions. The less to-do concerning the visit, the better.

It is best if you refrain from using words around your child that might cause unnecessary fear, such as 'needle', 'shot', 'pull', 'drill' or 'hurt'. The office makes a practice of using words that convey the same message, but are pleasant and non-frightening to the child.

If your child is anxious about dentistry, medically-compromised, or faces developmental and behavioral challenges, we are an excellent choice for your dental care. Our specialty training, experience and dedication will help your child get needed care in the most supportive way possible. We have served children with Diabetes, Autism Spectrum disorders, Down's Syndrome, DiGeorge's Syndrome, ADHD, etc.

We accept all PPO insurance plans whether we're in or out-of-network with your plans. We will file all claims for all services to your insurance companies as a courtesy to all families. Please call your insurance for provider verification if you have further questions.

We are committed to providing you with the best pediatric and orthodontic dental care possible and helping you receive maximum benefits. However, NOT all dental procedures are covered by your insurance and our staff cannot know all the limitation intricacies of your specific plans, therefore, it is important for you to learn all the specifics of your plan and understand your own policy. Insurance plans are NOT meant to cover everything at 100%. Insurance plans are designed to help cover some of the cost of treatment. We will design a treatment plan for you and let you know of your expected pre-estimates prior to performing most planned procedures. Therefore, all co-pays and deductibles are expected at time of services. Whether or not we participate with your PPO plans, we will file a claim with your insurance company as a courtesy to you for all covered procedures. However, all fees ARE ultimately the parent/guardian's responsibility.

The cost of treatment depends on your child's individual needs. Once you receive a treatment plan from our doctors, our staff will discuss with you the cost of your child's treatment, co-insurance, deductibles and benefits. Our staff is always available to help answer any of your questions regarding payments and insurance plans. If you have dual coverages, we will also coordinate benefits and file to your secondary insurance on your behalf as a courtesy to you. Affordable payment plans are available for you so your child can receive optimum care. We accept VISA, MasterCard as well as personal checks for payment processing.

Just took my son Ethan here today for his first dentist appointment since he was 2 (now 5) and I cannot stress enough how amazed I was with Jenn who did his cleaning and photos for X-ray she was so patient and kind with him it made my heart melt! My little bubby almost fell apart acouple times but she helped him work through it so well. Dr Tran was also amazing and very warm with him gave us a lot of information about his teeth and willing to listen when I asked question didn't make me feel like I was being a bother like I have felt in the past with other doctors 10/10 recommend here for kids!!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. DO NOT LET THIS DOCTOR USE YOUR KIDS TO MAKE MONEY. Our family dentist recommended Dr. Tran for our 4 year old who needed some cavities to be taking care of. To start I had to pay $186 for the consultation because according to the front desk "it wasn't covered by the insurance" but when I called our insurance, they told me which codes to use in order for the visit to be covered, unfortunately, the lady at the front desk told me they were not allow to do that. I should have looked for another office at this point but since Dr. Tran was highly recommended and had good reviews I scheduled the consultation and paid the $186.00. During the consultation Dr. Tran looked at the x-rays taken by our dentist and told me that our son needed 5 crowns possible 6 and 2 fillings, work to be done in a total of 4 visits, due to his age. She suggested a comfort blanket and the laughing gas. The other option was to get everything done at once, but we will have to pay an anesthesiologist to put out boy down, this was about $1,600 out of pocket, no cover by insurance. So we went with the first option. I talked to Dr. Tran for 15 max. When the lady at the front desk went over the estimate for the treatment. The charge for the laughing gas was $198.00 which was waived as a onetime courtesy. The charge for the blanket for "pediatric patient management" not cover by insurance was $221 per visit but If we don't use the blanket, we will have to pay $198 for the gas. I made the 1st appointment, went back to work but something wasn't right. So the next day, I cancelled his appointment and decided to get a second opinion. Today, we saw Dr. Khurana with Sporting Smiles in Gainesville and WE LOVE HER, she reviewed the x-rays taken by our dentist and took additional x-rays at no cost, we talked to her for about 45 minutes, she explained what was going on with our son's teeth. He needs 1 crown and 5 filings, she only recommended the laughing gas which will cost $85.00 per visit. we went over the treatment estimate with the front desk which was way lower than Dr. Tran's, made all the appointment and left feeling confident and we didn't have to pay for the consultation because it is cover by the insurance since our son is a new patient. LIKE I SAID STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

If I could give less then 1 stars I would definitely did , My daughter needed extractions and crowns . We checked with front desk staff and confirmed the amount my insurance will be covering and what amount we have to pay . Long story short, the procedure was expensive thats why I confirmed with them we won't get any more bills in the future and they assured us with no surprising bills . After couple months we received a bill stating that we still owe the practice for service we've received. I would never go this practice again nor will let anyone else go.

Normally I don't give negative reviews, but this time I am giving this dentist 1 start, too bad there is no a 0 stars! I took my son to this office for consolation only, before we headed there, I emailed them the X-ray images to them, during the office visit, my son was asked to do the X-ray again! I received the bill and total amount was $296, the doctor checked my son's teeth and talked to me less than 8 minutes, the consolation cost was $162. The receptionists were kind to us, the rest are so mean as could be. There was no smile no explanation no teat for my kid. EXPENSIVE CHARGES, BAD ATTITUDE AND BAD DOCTOR I HAVE EVER SEEN! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY TO GO THERE, NOT RECOMMENDED!
