Tom Stamas, DDS Dentistry is my passion. I have been a dentist for over 31 years. My wife, Anna, is a dental hygienist and an adjunct associate professor at Marquette University School of Dentistry. My sister, Kathy, is a dentist and is one of the youngest women to ever graduate from Marquette University School of Dentistry. She proudly covers for me when I am out of the office. My son, Paul, is a dentist who works with me at our facility. My daughter, Maria, is on our administrative staff and my brother, George, is our professional in-house lab technician. With our extensive dental expertise, we can confidently take care of all of your dental needs and concerns.
Paul Stamas, DDS Dr. Paul Stamass interest in dentistry started at a young age, as he grew up in a family with many dental professionals. His fathers enthusiasm for dentistry and his commitment to providing the best care for his patients inspired Dr. Paul to join the profession.After receiving his Bachelors degree from the University of Dayton, Dr. Paul continued on to graduate from Marquette University School of Dentistry. Finally joining his dads practice in Oconomowoc. He is excited to deliver exceptional care tailored to each of his patients.Belonging to both the Wisconsin Dental Association and the American Dental Association , Dr. Paul has always taken pride in his eagerness to learn and improve his skills. With a special interest in oral sedation, Dr. Paul Stamas has taken continuing education to become an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certified provider. This designation will aid in making every patient feel at ease in the dental chair.In his free time, you may find Dr. Paul enjoying the outdoors of Lake Country, either running along its trails or kayaking in its many beautiful lakes.Dr. Paul looks forward to meeting you and taking care of all of your dental needs!
Sue, Hygienist The story goes that when Dr. Stamas purchased the dental practice from Dr.Trimmell, I was part of the sale! I have 34 years of experience between the two of them and a total of 42 years practicing dental hygiene. My first eight years as a dental hygienist were in Chicago, where I was born and raised (Go Cubbies!).In those 42 years, Ive seen so many changes in dentistry we werent even wearing gloves when I started yikes! And the technology has gone through some amazing advances. You cant be in a career that spans that many years without a love for what you do, and I feel that way every day I walk into our office. I know my patients; Ive been through so much of their lives and have watched kids grow to have families of their own. Taking care of my patients oral hygiene needs is very rewarding for me. I take great pride in what I do and feel I make a difference in more than just their oral health. Those clean smiles that I made happen lets me know I am where I am supposed to be.
Trish, Front Desk Trish has known and worked with the Stamas family for over 30 years! She loves her job on the administrative team and enjoys greeting patients with a smile, explaining treatment and helping to utilize insurance benefits, as well as helping to make patients as comfortable as possible throughout their visit to the dentist. In her time away from the office, she loves to travel, spend time with family at their cabin up north, go hiking and boating, and relax with a good book.
Brooke, Finance Coordinator Brooke has worked in the dental financial field for over 8 years and has been with Dr. Stamas since 2017. She excels at resolving issues with insurance companies to make sure each patient is maximizing their dental benefits. She is a true number mastermind! In her time away from work, Brooke likes to ride her Harley with her boyfriend, Jake, travel, and most importantly, snuggle with her fur babies.
Colette, Hygienist Colette has been working with the Stamas office since 2004. She owes her beautiful smile to Dr. Tom. She enjoys working with each individual client she treats.When not at the office, Colette enjoys playing golf and walking her two Golden Retrievers.
Gina, Hygienist Gina has been a dental hygienist for 23 years and has been working for Dr. Stamas since 2014. She is also a clinical instructor at the Dental School at Marquette University.Gina truly enjoys seeing all of her patients and does all she can to help them achieve optimal dental health. She loves to be active outside, traveling, and she especially loves spending time with her three children.
Kalynn, Assistant Kalynn began working for Dr. Tom as an intern and has been with him ever since she just celebrated her 14 year anniversary!Kalynn is a mom of four and also teaches dental assisting at a local community college. She loves crafting and working her side gig.
Shannon, Marketing Director Shannon has been working for Dr. Tom for 8 years. She started off as a dental assistant and eventually found her role as Dr. Toms marketing director. Shannon holds a BA in English with an emphasis in creative writing from Carroll University. Shes a proud mother of 3 and spends her days hiking, biking, running, homeschooling, and crafting with her children.
Julie, Hygienist Julie grew up in the Chicago suburbs and came to Milwaukee to go to Dental Hygiene School at Marquette University. Shes been a hygienist for 20 years, graduated in 2001. She met her husband, Chris at school. Julie has lived in Oconomowoc since 2004 and has 2 kids. She loves her community and hanging out with her wonderful neighbors.
Amy, Assistant Amy recently joined our amazing team and received her dental assisting diploma from Waukesha County Technical College in July of 2020. While at WCTC, she was the president of the Dental Assisting Club and also began her prerequisites for the hygiene program.Amy brings joy and positivity to the office with her friendly, bubbly personality. She lives in Greenfield and loves her French Bulldog, Tula. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, fishing, and all things Wisconsin!

My son had a dental emergency a few weeks ago and I could not find anyone to get him in, I called Dr. Tom cosmetic and they were able to get my son in right away, they were extremely nice and made my son feel so comfortable and safe. He now wants to continue coming here. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for nice professional workers and know they are going to do amazing!

We always get excellent service at Dr. Stamas' dentistry. I have been going to Tom for years and my husband recently made the switch from his previous dentist. He had some extensive work done, root canal, crown repair, etc and was blown away by how easy and painless it was compared to his old place.

I have a had a full smile design by Dr Tom it was pain less and went just as he said. I have a amazing smile thanks to Dr Tom and his staff ! Highly recommend !!

I could go to a dentist closer to home, but Dr. Stamas and his team are worth every mile! They are always friendly, professional and clear as to what they are doing, so I can maintain healthy teeth and gums. I have shared my experiences with, and would recommend them to, my family and friends!

Went in for initial appointment for cleaning and x-rays and the cleaner Sue was very professional as well as her assistant. Found out I needed three cavities filled and went in a few weeks following to have them taken care of. Dr. Paul did not make me feel confident in the procedure saying it might hurt for up to three weeks. After numbing came down I was in pain and called the office to schedule a follow up appointment. Dr. Tom came in and after seeing the tooth and hearing the symptoms immediately said I would need a crown and that the tooth was cracked and it could have been during the procedure but was most likely from biting something hard. (I hadn't eaten anything harder than a banana for two weeks following the procedure) Having a retired dentist in my family I had him take a look as I know a crown could damage the integrity of my tooth and wanted to make sure it was necessary as I didn't trust Dr. Tom's almost immediate jump to me needing a crown. After three different visits to dentists in the area they all said the crown was absolutely not necessary and after a minor adjustment and some sensodyne I am in zero pain. Avoided an unnecessary $1500 bill to cushion this guys pocket. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion when working with this dentist. Also asked their front desk multiple times if I was in network or not which they continually said they weren't 100% sure even though they had a processed claim from my cleaning which said right on the statement.

Fantastic Dental office ! Can not say enough about the kindness of all the staff, from the front desk, dental assistants and Dentist. Coming from a very fearful patient there was complete comfort and pain free appointments - they did everything to make me feel comfortable and I would easily go back. Highly recommend for anyone who has "dental work fear" - this is an incredible dental practice -

I call on a Sunday emergency number left msg and call Dr Stamas cell no call back still to this date which is Wednesday nothing not even from the office. Would not recommend them seen his name at lake.county hound dogs u wasted ur money on advertising u don't even call people back
