Dr. Welch is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Huntsville and received his doctorate in dentistry at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. He also completed a three-year joint residency program in periodontics at Birmingham Veterans Hospital and the University of Alabama School of Dentistry.
Dr. Welch performs periodontal surgery, dental implants, gum grafts, bone grafts and diagnosis and treatment of oral soft tissue pathology. He spends quality time with his patients ensuring all of their questions are answered so they can feel comfortable during their visit. He helps you understand what you need so that you can make the best decision for yourself.

AWESOME EXPERIENCE - Most painless dental visit EVER. He removed a fractured tooth and put an implant in on my first visit. Price was very affordable for an implant and price included exrays and a followup visits. I was so a mazed after hed drilled my jaw that when he was done I blurted out that I LOVED HIM, because I was not looking forward to this procedure and it was a breeze. I waited for over a year with a missing tooth. TOMORROW, I finally get the crown put on the implant at a local dentist. YEAH

I had heard all the horror stories about having Periodontal procedure, scraping cutting digging, blood and screams pain. I had to not only have Periodontal work but extractions as well. I was dreading this for quite a while. I was told that the entire process would take 3 to 6 months. To my surprise Dr Todd accomplished everything in an hour and a half with minimal pain ( Dr Todd is not shy with the Novocain, I think my toes were numb). This was hands down the best dental experience EVER! Dr Todd uses a Laser Scalpel (cuts cleans and cauterizes in one step) Dentistry has finally emerged from the Dark Ages!)
