Todd C. Burris DMD began his dental career by attending Kansas University for his Bachelors Degree in Human Biology. He then completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree at Temple University Dental School in 2002, and shortly thereafter opened his practice.
As a Shawnee local, Dr. Burris always wanted to serve his local community, and has done so for more than ten years. His patients are like family, and he is dedicated to making them feel comfortable and informed regarding their treatment plan.
When a tooth's structure has been compromised by decay (cavity), a crack in the enamel, or a chip, a filling is required to prevent further damage. Often, these areas have gone undetected by the patient until the dentist finds them in a routine check up.

Burris Dental is awesome. Been seeing Dr. Todd for 15 years now. He is the hippest dentist I know. My kids enjoy the visits too. He makes going to the dentist fun.

I have gone to Dr. Burris' office for about six years now at the recommendation from a co-worker. I fell in love with this group immediately. A few years later, we've sent a few new patients their way just from our office. Everyone I have ever interacted with here are completely 100% professional, but more importantly, I absolutely know they care about me and my dental needs. I've had a couple of minor emergencies (I know, an oxymoron!) and they have bent over backwards to get me in. At work, we joke about Dr. Burris and his staff being the closest thing to a "pain-free" dental group we've ever seen. Now, you KNOW there are certain procedures that will never be pain-free, but he and his staff go out of their way to make you comfortable. If you had bad experiences with dentists in the past, Dr. Burris's group are the perfect health providers to get you back in the dental chair with zero worries or trepidations. I could not recommend any health care provider for any condition higher than Dr. Burris and his staff.

Staff was very friendly & helpful. They made me feel comfortable with good conversation and my fear began to dissipated before procedure began. Dr. Burris has a good professional bedside manner; he was concerned about my comfort and kept reassuring me as he filled three cavities. I'm going back.
