Dr. Thomas Sammons has Youngsville, Louisiana roots and continues to reside in Cajun Country. He and his wife Abbey grew up together attending the same church and are both thankful to be working in the healthcare field in their hometown. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from ULL and graduated summa cum laude. He attended LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Sammons remains a devoted supporter of his alma mater, ULL, and is a regular at many of the universitys sporting and community events. When not practicing dentistry, you can find him enjoying time with friends and family, participating in early morning swims and workouts, volunteering, or hunting.
Dr. Sammons is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and the Acadiana District Dental Association where he has represented the chapter as a Delegate to the State Board.
After graduating from LSU School of Dentistry in 1983, Dr. Ann Laurent was one of only three female dentists in Lafayette. Today, she remains a trailblazer for aspiring women in a practice that helps patients achieve harmony when their outer smile mirrors their inner one. Her personal sense of spirituality informs her passion for beauty and healing in mind, body, and spirit. Balancing her compassionate heart is a zest for friendship, food, and music. Dr. Laurents hope and prayer is that her synthesis of artistic expression in social action reveals itself in her work, in her relationships, and in her life. Our practice offers a full array of dental services and we pride ourselves in our cosmetic services. Dr Ann, and Dr. Sam are awesome. They have the best staff, Nikki, Kristie, Amanda are the best. They truly care about patients, and do their best to get you in as soon as possible. They like to have fun with patients as well. If you go anywhere else for dental care you need counseling, that's how awesome the whole crew are. Go see them I give them a 20 out of 10

Looking for a dentist? Not 100% absolutely satisfied with your dental care or dental office staff? Look no further. This is THE dentist office. Their office treats not only the usual dental issues but treats TMJ, snoring issues, offers dental implants and addresses other dental issues or Non-issues such as cosmetic/aesthetic desires. You are treated with great respect, courtesy and kindness by the entire staff. Anything less is not tolerated. This office has VERY high patient care standards. Our family loves this place and has been going here for decades. It makes going to the dentist an experience that you KNOW your dental concerns will be addressed....including on-call/emergency issues. The entire staff is friendly & always helpful. They do not have a constant turn-over rate....which means that people want to work there. I've never witnessed a negative attitude.They truly provide paramount customer service. They have never "dropped-the-ball" with our family's dental care. I recently had dental implants & the crowns made outside of the office were not a perfect fit. Dr. Ann Laurent sent the crowns back & had me refitted.

Dr. Laurent has been my dentist since2006. Besides excelling as such, she affords her patients with the most courteous, helpful, skilled staff possible. Dr Sammons has been an awesome addition. Dr Sammons & Dr Ann Laurent's practice is very professional with great service across the board. Their front office staff will work with your schedule, the hygienist takes care of my teeth leaving them feeling amazing for weeks and ready for the Dr. Dr Sammons is very transparent with my hygiene, recommendations, and treatment even on a personable level. By far the best oral care I have yet to receive.
