Dr. Thomas Sammons has Youngsville, Louisiana roots and continues to reside in Cajun Country. He and his wife Abbey grew up together attending the same church and are both thankful to be working in the healthcare field in their hometown. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from ULL and graduated summa cum laude. He attended LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Sammons remains a devoted supporter of his alma mater, ULL, and is a regular at many of the universitys sporting and community events. When not practicing dentistry, you can find him enjoying time with friends and family, participating in early morning swims and workouts, volunteering, or hunting.
Dr. Sammons is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and the Acadiana District Dental Association where he has represented the chapter as a Delegate to the State Board.
After graduating from LSU School of Dentistry in 1983, Dr. Ann Laurent was one of only three female dentists in Lafayette. Today, she remains a trailblazer for aspiring women in a practice that helps patients achieve harmony when their outer smile mirrors their inner one. Her personal sense of spirituality informs her passion for beauty and healing in mind, body, and spirit. Balancing her compassionate heart is a zest for friendship, food, and music. Dr. Laurents hope and prayer is that her synthesis of artistic expression in social action reveals itself in her work, in her relationships, and in her life.
