Root canals are supposed to hurt, aren't they? In truth, the shot of novacaine was the only pain I felt, and it was mild at that. Dr. Goebel is a cool cat. He knows that a little small talk, and a nice even tempered voice, can be as effective as novocaine. And it works. Don't be deceived by any reviews that are negative.People who find out that they need a root canal are always going to be bummed, and many take it out on the Dr.. SImply put, if you need a root canal...Dr. Goebel is the man. His staff are talented and delightful women. This is a no brainer 5 star Doc.. So remember it this way: Dr. Goebel's always willin' , if your tooth needs drillin' ! If you need a root canal, make this 5 star Doc your pal! Seriously we all hope that we never have problems with our teeth. But when you do, Dr. Goebel is your best option by far!!!

What a thief!! Went for a root canal on a tooth that already had a root canal performed. After removing the crown and taking an x-ray of the tooth he said the tooth was cracked and needed to be removed. I declined service at that time. Two weeks later I received a bill for $590.00. (for the taking of an xray and removal of a crown which I paid just to get this ripped off feeling behind me). WHAT A THIEF!!! WOULD NEVER GO BACK!!! TAKE THIS A FAIR WARNING, go anywhere else.

I had a root canal procedure done at Dr. Goebel's office. Overall the offices and facilities are very up-to-date and they offer very state-of-the-art services. The procedure was done fairly quickly and without too much discomfort. However, the issues I had with the office were the fact that they did not discuss any of my health insurance coverages or what their office charged at all prior to starting any of the work, something that every other dentist or medical professional I've been to has always done. Nobody likes to be blind-sided after getting dental work done by finding out that the dentists charges significantly more than what their dental insurance will cover. I would have been much happier to know this information up-front. Another issue I had with this office was that after receiving my root canal treatment, I received no follow-up care instructions for after the procedure to take care of the root canal and temporary filling until the permanent reconstruction was done by my normal dentist. I even specifically asked if there was anything else I should do to take care of the tooth, and Dr. Goebel waved me out of his office and told me "I was all set", or in other words "I wasn't his problem anymore". As a result, the temporary filling fell out and I ended up with a fracture on the surface of my tooth; luckily my normal dentist was able to save it without having to do a complete extraction but if it had gone unnoticed any longer it could have been a serious issue. These two issues I experienced were serious problems and despite the rest of the professionalism of the office, I would not have another procedure done here.
