Dr. Tom Carroll was born and raised in the Syracuse area. He attended Syracuse University, earning a B.S. in Biology. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Carroll studied Dentistry in Boston at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After earning his D.M.D. from Tufts, he returned home to Syracuse to continue his education at St. Josephs Hospitals General Practice Residency Program.
Dr. Carroll truly enjoys Dentistry. He is very active in professional organizations. He is Past-President of the Onondaga County Dental Society, an active member of the NYS Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Upper NYS Dental Seminars. Dr. Carroll and his team continue to educate themselves on the latest in dentistry by participating in continuing education seminars regularly.
I am a lifetime resident of Syracuse who began my career in the healthcare profession over forty years ago. I have had the opportunity to manage medical practices in various specialties throughout the years. I have worked together with Dr. Carroll as Practice Manager for over twenty years. I feel increasingly privileged to be a part of Dr. Carrolls Team and to work with the wonderful patients that make up our Practice. Outside the office, I treasure the time spent with my husband, children and grandchildren.
I have been employed in the dental profession since September of 1996. I am the Scheduling Coordinator for Dr.Carrolls Team. I thoroughly enjoy meeting and serving our patients who visit us each day for their dental care. My professional background includes a degree in Music Education. I am married and have two sons, one who lives in California, one in Texas, and a stepson and stepdaugter in Syracuse.
I have been a part of Dr. Carrolls Team since July of 2008. My interest in dentistry began in high school while taking dental assisting courses through BOCES. I worked as a dental assistant up until 2005 when I decided to further my education and enroll in hygiene school. I have been enjoying a career as a Dental Hygienist ever since. I have a daughter who recently married and lives in Boston.

Always a terrific experience! Dr. Carroll is very personable and strives to maintain a personal connection at every visit. The office staff is truly exceptional. From the logistics to the face to face interactions, they ensure that your experience is a positive one. As a long time patient, I have gotten to know many of the hygienists and, again, I can attest... OUTSTANDING. They are thorough with their cleanings and offer a detailed explanation whenever necessary. For these reasons, my family and I will never go anywhere else!

Love Dr Carroll and his entire staff. I've been going there for several yrs now and they always greet you when you come in, and they are all so professional. After each cleaning, Dr Carroll comes in to see X-rays and check your mouth and teeth himself. Very well run business. Takes the "ouch" out of going to the dentist

Dr. Carrols office is awesome. Best newest technology and the staff are great from the minute you walk in the door. My family always enjoys going to the office and Dr. Carrol does great with the kids.

Dr. Carroll fabricated a new tooth/crown to replace one that broke off over the weekend. He was decisive, assured; worked quickly and surely. He informed me on the process when I showed interest. The outcome was a perfect tooth--looks like it was there forever. He was pleasant, cordial, as were the technician and the front-office staff. This is invariably true; an amazing group of professionals. Should add that his local anesthesia is as close to painless as it gets!

I wasn't prepared to be wowed by my dentist. But on my first visit, that's what happened. Carroll Dentistry is modern dentistry at its best. The office is impeccable. The staff is friendly and proficient. Dr. Carroll is highly skilled and experienced. He combines state-of-the-art computer-aided digital imaging with current best business management practices.
