Strict infection control standards are maintained at all times; we not only practice the advanced sterilization protocols you deserve to expect out of a dental office, but we also decline to use city tap water. All of our dental equipment is fed with distilled water, the lines of which are disinfected continuously in order to assure you a higher-than-average standard of cleanliness. It is only in this way that we can fully achieve our goal of bringing you the very best in dental care.

Having worked professionally as a dentist since 1992, Dr. Song is able to boast a rare and exceptional record of quality dental service that should keep your mind at ease and keep your smile bright.
Dr. Thomas C. Song earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry, in 1992. He then went on to pursue an advanced education in general practice residency and completed his postdoctoral training at the prestigious Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California. Through this training, Dr. Song was able to master an expanded knowledge of all facets of dentistry.
His Navy training took him on a six years of active duty service with the US Navy as a Naval Dental Officer, where he provided comprehensive dental care to our sailors and marines. He was awarded numerous academic, clinical and military service awards for his work, including two Navy Achievement Medals for clinical excellence and service above and beyond the call of duty. At the close of his military career, he left with the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
Even after the military, Dr. Songs education and training continued. In 1998, he earned the highly esteemed designation ofFellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD).The Academy of General Dentistry, an international organization of dentists with a mission of quality continuing dental education, sets high standards for excellence, and fellowship in this organization is an honor achieved by only 3% of dentists in the United States.
In the words of the AGD, aFAGD has been recognized by other dentists as a leader and an example to other dentists who are committed to quality patient care through continuing dental education. The AGD places emphasis on life-long continued dental education (above and beyond what is needed for basic state requirements for annual licensure.) Academy fellows are required to have earned a minimum of 500 hours of approved continuing dental education credits, pass a rigorous comprehensive exam, and serve as a member of the academy for at least three continuous years.
AGD members must also remain up-to-date with the latest advances in the profession. Dr. Song achieved his Fellowship only six years after graduating from dental school. If a dentist met only the state required 21 hours per year of continuing education, it would take a dentist nearly 24 years to achieve Fellowship status! It is Dr. Songs firm belief that the key to providing excellence in dentistry is continued education and keeping pace with the latest developments in modern dental technology.
Dr. Song is highly trained in providing the latest techniques in painless dentistry and has taken numerous advanced courses in cosmetic, implant, restorative, and laser dentistry making continuing education a routine part of his dental practice.Dr. Song strives to maintain the highest level of accreditation and currently pursuing ongoing education to stay at the forefront and cutting edge of dentistry by diligently working toward receiving his very prestigiousMastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). Dr. Song is also a certified WaterLase dentistry clinician proficient and experienced in all laser dentistry including hard and soft tissue, surgical and restorative procedures.
Dr. Song currently lives in Edmonds, WA. In addition to his dental practice and his involvement with numerous reputable dental organizations and study clubs, he enjoys fishing, basketball, tennis, swimming, and spending time with his wife and three children.

I could not be happier that I found Dr. Song. He is the best dentist I have ever been to and I have been to alot. If it weren't for him I wouldn't even be able to chew at all. From the time I called to make an appointment, Melissa was so nice and got me in so quickly and then really helped with my insurance and financial part. I felt so comfortable there, everyone was so professional and nice. Dr. Song cleaned my teeth and explained my x-rays to me, and answered all my questions. He fixed my bridge and did a filling, so I was able to actually chew my food. And there was no pain at all. He really knew what he was doing and it didn't even take that long. So good! Today he built up a tooth that has been broken for years..and now it feels like I got a whole new tooth. I would recommend Dr.Song to anyone and everyone. Thank you Dr. Song and Melissa and staff. So happy I found you!!!!

I have been a patient of Dr.Thomas Song at his office in Lynnwood, Washington for over 20 years. I visit his office every six months for a check-up and cleaning and do appreciate his concern for my health and comfort. Many years ago an old filling fell out late in the day. I contacted Dr.Song's office and he saw me right away to take care of the problem. My wife has also been a patient of Dr.Song for over 20 years. Jack K.

Dr. Song is great. He keeps a professional level with high standards but also makes sure that his patients are well taken care of. His office scheduled my appointment on my time rather than what was convenient for them. And they made sure to outline everything that would be done. They make sure that all my questions are answered. Dr. Kim worked on my teeth, making sure that each filling was conducted to the office's high standards. She also takes the time to make sure that everything felt right so that I didn't have problems later on.

I have been going to Dr. Song for 3-4 years. I absolutely love the laser dentistry that has been used for my fillings! Little to no pain during procedure and no downtime afterwards. The staff is very friendly and professional.

I've been going to Dr.Song for most of my life. He is fantastic professional and friendly. Dr. Song makes sure to promptly work on each individual patient as efficiently as possible, while also making them comfortable. His office and staff is accommodating, they make sure that appointments are scheduled on your time rather than their convenience. They are also ready for any emergencies that might arise, being able to squeeze you into a busy schedule to address the emergency. They are accurate with quotas, so you won't be surprised with any surprise costs. And they do not push anything unnecessary. They actively try to save you money. I've gotten 6 fillings done at this office. Dr. Kim made sure to get through my appointment as quickly as possible while also keeping up with high standards. She and assistants made sure i was as comfortable as I could be, but also being methodical, making adjustments based upon my feed back so that everything feels right. I would highly recommend this office.

Beware of this dentist! I used to go get my teeth cleaned. Went in to get some minor bonding work a few years ago and he drilled away at my teeth making them shorter and uneven. His wife actually yelled at us when we went to voice our concerns. I will never forget that. I later went to a different dentist who specializes in cosmetic dentistry and they told me that yes, my teeth were unnecessarily ground down. Talk about unprofessional! My aunt also had WORSE tooth pain after getting some dental work done by him. Getting your teeth cleaned here is fine since it's the dental assistants doing the work and not Dr. Song. However, don't let him touch your teeth for anything related to aesthetics or anything that involves drilling or surgery! I'm writing this several years later about my absolute nightmare experiences from this dentist and wanted others to be aware about this dentist before making the same mistake I made getting work done by Dr. Song. BUYER BEWARE!!!

"For the Coffee drinkers" out there and bothered by the coffee stains on your teeth...well, I strongly recommend to visit Dr. Song's Dental Center. I was amazed by their prompt service how they were able to clean it not only removing the stains but brought my teeth back to even whiter. I am sure there are several hygienist in this clinic, but thumbs up to Ms. Holly, one of the most friendly hygienist. Her work was complete satisfaction.

WARNING!! DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE BRINGING YOUR KIDS OR PAYING OUT OF POCKET!! When I was younger I used to go here a lot and my parents would pay out-of-pocket. He basically drilled down all of my molars and now I will require crowns for all my molars. I always thought it was weird that I went to the dentist so often and literally get drilled every single time I went there. Literally EVERY SINGLE dentists that I have visited after "Dr." Thomas have stated that he is a fraud dentist that does extra work for the money. Every dentist I have visited always asks for his name and his practice, probably to warn others about him? I am finally writing this review because I feel the need to warn people as well. BEWARE!

I used to go to him all the time when I was little and now I'm with a new dentist. Beware if you are taking your younger kids - All the dentists I see now tell me and ask me who my dentist was as a child because he scraped and drilled out most of my molars and other teeth. So angry but guess can't help it and now my options are crowns.

Dr. Song has been taking care of my teeth for more than 15 years already. He restored and rehabilitated my teeth from bad to good healthy condition. He gives me the care that I and my family deserve. His staffs are so wonderful and helpful especially his dental hygienist, Holly, who has been excellent in cleaning my teeth three times a year. That is why I absolutely recommend this dentist to every body. Thank you Dr. Song for always taking good care of my teeth. More power to you!
