Dr. Jakubanis was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois.He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago Circle.He received his DDS degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry.
He has taken many continuing education classes over the years and still enjoys learning new techniques and procedures. He enjoys working with his patients, helping them attain and maintain healthy mouths and smiles.
Dr. Jakubanis has been involved with organized dentistry for over thirty years. He is a member of The American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, and The San Juan Basin Dental Society. He also served as a trustee for the Colorado Dental Association.

Your initial oral examinationincludes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations.We will also take x-rays for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of teeth.Our practice is confident that all of our patients will receive the best treatment available in dentistry today.
We accept most dental insurance plans and will file claims on your behalf, saving you the time and hassle.Our office will do everything we can to help you gettreatment you need and want. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card.

They probably do fine work but the office is falling apart and unkempt. My husband came home with a bloody piece of floss stuck to his shoe and the dentist was over half an hour late getting to him first thing in the morning

I don't usually gush in my reviews...but this office is tops! Kristen gave me the best cleaning I've had in over a decade and Dr. Jakubanis was a delight and a breath of fresh air! If you're looking for a good dentist/technician, I highly recommend.

I'm new to Durango and was very happy with the care I received from Dr. Terry and his staff. Dr. Terry was able to fix a wire that popped off my permanent retainer. I'll be going back in the future.

Seen him for years and just in the recently discovered that the staff doesn't communicate. Had tooth that I had trouble with back at my regular cleaning and it was dismissed as sensitive months later it became very pain full. Went in was told it was a cracked tooth. A temporary crown was placed just before the weekend. I returned the next Monday and told the assistant that my bite was off. seen the dentist and explain that the top teeth even hurt and was told it needed a root canal. left the office feeling frustrated. I actually got a second opinion and was told the crown was way to high. It was so high they broke through the crown. I was very disappointed that after 20 some years I was dismissed as though I didn't know my own body.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff in a great location. They worked with my schedule and I was able to get an appointment on short notice. Dr. Jakubanis has one of the best offices in town. I will definitely be making this my new dentist!
