At Bell Family Dentistry, your safety and protection are our top priorities. We go above and beyond what is required by state and federal laws in our sterilization and infection control procedures. For instrument sterilization, we utilize ultrasonic agitation and steam autoclaves (high heat and pressure) to ensure the sterility of our dental instruments. We add another layer of protection by packaging instruments in sterilization bags and resin or metal cassettes, which are only opened on an individualized patient basis. Weekly spore tests are performed on all autoclaves to monitor their safety and effectiveness, and all of our equipment is maintained according to manufacturers specifications. We thoroughly clean and disinfect all patient and clinician surfaces prior to your arrival. When possible, disposable dental supplies are utilized to prevent any possibility of cross-contamination. All tests and cleaning procedures are properly logged and are available for your inspection. Our staff has been trained in proper infection control techniques, and we attend annual OSHA continuing education courses.
Dr. Bell grew up in Minnesota and is happy to now call Cary home. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 1998. While at Notre Dame, she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society and is currently an active member. She then completed her dental training at Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2002, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Bell is committed to providing the latest advances in dentistry to her patients, and has completed courses at the Pankey Institute and the Spear Education series. She is currently an active member in the local chapter of the Spear Study Club. This organization focuses on team treatment planning and improving dental knowledge to achieve ideal and comprehensive patient care. Away from the dental office, she enjoys reading and playing, coaching, or watching all sports.
Claudia grew up in Strasburg, Ohio and later in Greensboro, North Carolina. She attended the Dental Assisting program at Guilford Technical Community College and graduated in 2000. Claudia has had additional training with the Nash Institute and Levin Group where she was educated by top dental professionals. She graduated in 2014, completing her Fellowship in Dental Office Management from AADOM, making her 1 of 6 dental managers in North Carolina to have completed her fellowship. She was nominated as Office Manager of the Year in 2014. This made her one of the top 30 Dental Office Managers in the nation. She is a board member of the AADOM Triangle Area Chapter and was nominated Treasurer. In her spare time Claudia loves to spend time with her husband and family, and enjoys taking long walks with her dog Elle in local area parks. Cooking and listening to music are her favorite past times. Claudias dedication to providing office and team support, as well as high quality customer care, have had a strong influence in our office and continues to make our dental team strive for excellence.
Hailing from Michigan seven years ago, Katie graduated from Central Carolina CC with a degree in dental hygiene in 2019. With a family of four children and a wonderful husband, Katie has made her home in Fuquay-Varina. As a dental hygienist, Katie brings her sense of humor to the operatory. She strives for excellence while making a trip to the dentist an enjoyable experience. She focuses on patient education and creating a dynamic environment for growth.
Katie was born and raised in Rochester, NH then moved to Apex, NC in the fall of 2014 worked with Dr. Bell and team from 2014-2017 and came back in June 2020. She is so happy to be back! As a hygienist, it is Katies priority to provide patients with oral care to best meet their individual needs in a friendly, gentle, and sincere manner.
Taylor was born and raised in Apex, NC. She graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Sandhills Dental Career Center in Aberdeen, NC in November 2020. She graduated at the top of her class. Her compassion and eagerness to provide excellent dental care makes her an amazing addition to our team. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family and goes on walks with her dog Willow.
JaKayla was born and raised in Roxboro, NC. She graduated from Triangle School of Dental Assisting in April, 2021. Her passion is working with people and creating a connection. In 2019, JaKayla was a former advisor of the SADD (Students Against Destructive Decision) Committee. Where she spoke in front of hundreds of students across North Carolina encouraging students to make healthier decisions. In her free time, JaKayla enjoys spending time with her family and cooking out on the grill. Her goal is to provide her patients with the best care and making sure every patient is leaving with the best experience and a smile to follow.
Monica was raised in California and Texas. She has been in dentistry for 20 years. Her passion is to help people with their smiles and comforting them throughout their dental procedures. In her free time she enjoys pickleball, bible studies, family, and friends.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Fantastic place. The most attentive staff I have ever seen. Dr. Bell is by far the best dentist I have had. She is a percipient doctor who is honest, helpful, takes the time to understand where you are coming from, what your issues are as the patient, and sets a plan in place to fix them. The doctor understands my concerns and history, then does everything in her power to the issues in my teeth head on. And a special shout out to her power team: Taylor, Ja'Kayla, Claudia, and Monica. You guys are wonderful. They are on their A game every single time I go there, making the appointments as easy as possible. Dr. Bell and everyone else, if you are reading this: thank you! You guys made a long, implant process a lot less painful and stressful than it had to be and I cannot say thank you enough.

I have nothing but great things to say about this practice. Tara is extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly. The staff is great and they go above and beyond trying to meet your every need. I recently went in for some thing routine only to have to be referred out to a specialist and they took a lot of time and energy trying to find a provider that was in Network and make the appointments for me. They have been very prompt and responsive with any follow-up questions I have had. Taylor and Claudia in particular are great! Thank you guys so much!

Both my spouse and I have seen Dr. Bell for our three years living in the triangle area of NC. We have always had a fantastic experience! I personally have very worn teeth due to years of grinding, and there's often something that needs attention. I always felt extremely comfortable and satisfied with every treatment I received in her office - including cleanings, fillings, and my first-ever crown. I would highly recommend Dr. Bell to anyone in need of a kind, caring, and professional dentist.

Had a fantastic experience with Dr. Bell's office. Had a filling that had come out and taken part of my tooth with it. Called Dr. Bell's office and they were able to get me in right away. Oh and did I mention I was a new patient! Office is very organized and clean. They have good procedures in place for getting everyone in and out of the office safely and efficiently during COVID. Claudia and the rest of the Bell Family Team were fantastic. I would definitely recommend Dr. Bell if you are looking for a dentist. She takes the time to answer any questions. I will definitely be back.

Tara Bell and her entire staff are awesome. They're kind and warm and consummate professionals. I'm particularly moved by Dr. Bell's constant verbal expressions of gratitude and positive reflections with her staff. It's not often enough that you hear a doctor thank and recognize all the people supporting the client/patient. It's doctoring in the feminine! I had a cracked tooth and she fixed it up right away with a temporary solution and got started on a long term plan for a more permanent one--relieving my stress and concern over a more painful and costly scenario. Thank you!

Dr. Tara Bell, the hygienists and the illustrious office manager- Claudia, are definitely one of a kind. Our family have been patients of this practice for many years and am constantly impressed with their prompt, high level dental care and attention to detail. I came in today for a cleaning and the hygienist was friendly and skillful. If you are looking for a dental team in the Raleigh/ Durham surrounding area. Look no further. My father had a superb experience at Dr Bell's office today. He is a 78 years old retire professor and uses a walker and has cardiac issues. They went above and beyond to accommodate him and answer all of his questions and concerns. They spent a lot of time making sure that his visit was great. He was very pleased with the experience that he had with Dr Bell's office staff and hygienist.

This was my first time going to the dentist in years. I was very pleased when I arrived at Bell's Family Dentist. The staff was very welcoming and pleasant. The atmosphere was not clustered and very sanitary. Aimee was amazing and made it the perfect experience for me. Dr. Bell put the icing on the cake and really made it an overall great experience. I would recommend this dentist to any and everyone. I'll be back !!!
