I have been a patient here for several years and have always been very happy with my dental services provided by Dr Lovan and his staff. They are friendly, make me feel comfortable, and do an A+ job in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

I have a very unique situation from a fall that occurred 47 yrs ago in Bloomington, Illinois. At that time I had to undergo 6 months of dental work and had 4 crowns in the front attached with metal rods. When we moved to Granger Indiana, Dr Lovan became my dentist and replaced the old crowns with new ones since the original ones had been on for over 20 years. They looked great and I continued to see him while we lived there. Fast forward: we moved to Zionsville and I had a very bad experience with an endodontist who drilled a hole in the back of one of the crowns. The teeth started shifting and after going to two endodontists and two dentists, no one wanted to touch it or even think about repairing it even though it was a necessary procedure. So I returned to SouthBend and Dr Lovan assured me that not only did he have a solution to allow me to bite into food using my front teeth, he could also make my smile even and bright and cause no damage to the osteoporosis in my bones as he removed and replaced the crowns. He and his staff did a fabulous job, all in one long day!!! They are so professional, kind and caring and extremely talented in providing optimal care. I couldn't be happier! I now have four new crowns, a great smile and most importantly teeth that do the job they were intended to do.

My insurance at worked changed, I had to look for a new dentist and I was referred to Lovan. After my first visit it was determined I needed some work. After the work was completed and the numbness wore off, my bite was off, I contacted them and made a follow up appointment 2 days out. When I went back it was determined the fillings cracked out and needed to be redone. They redid the work no charge, however the new work was holding a lot of food, I made another follow up appointment. Lovan looked at it and said there was a large space and he could close the gap better, it will help with the issue, but he had to redo the work again. I passed on getting the work redone a third time. My insurance changed again and I went back to my previous dentist, he took a full set of X-rays and noticed I had new work done, but there was underlying issues. He showed me that under the new fillings there were dark spots where the decay was not fully drilled out and left air pockets under the resin. He said I should contact them and have the work pulled out and redone. I said absolutely not going back there, now I am paying out of pocket $1100 to fix this properly. People at Lovan were nice and accommodating but I rather not go through unnecessary numbing and drilling. Nicole Sula

Phenomenal experience. Laurie was great and patient and took the time to listen to my concerns and put me in touch with the resources I needed. It was a validating experience and a calming environment for those who have anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist.

I recently had my initial visit with Dr. Lovan and I couldn't be more pleased. His staff is very friendly, and will take the time to explain treatment options, as well as insurance questions. I definitely would recommend coming to this dental office!

Dr. Lovan is a top class scammer.. I went in for a regular checkup and he tells me that I need to get a filling immediately or my tooth would decay. Being he is a registered dentist I agreed and got the filling and he told me I would be good. A week later the tooth starting giving me chronic pain in my whole jaw, and I went back and he charged me another 750$ just to "fix" it and refill it. This same thing happened again 2 more times... I highly suggest you go see another dentist.
