Dr. T. Gary Forester has been in the practice of general dentistry for 33 years; graduating from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry in 1977. He received his undergraduate degree in psychology from Fresno State and training in radiology in the Army prior to attending UCSF. He and his wife, Marilyn, returned to Fresno with their son, Jimmy, to build a home and open a new practice. Three other children, David, Tommy and Beth, were born and raised here. Jimmy and David have also entered the field of dentistry, Tommy is on staff with Campus Crusade in Philadelphia, and Beth has her doctorate in physical therapy in Pasadena. They are currently remodeling the old playhouse in the backyard for their three grandchildren.
He is currently practicing with his son, David, in a new, state-of-the-art digital office in Fresno with an office team with experience that spans from several to 27 years. There are obviously many years of experience which this group brings to the table when considering the most appropriate care for ones oral health needs. They also network with a very experienced team of specialists to extend the care available when needed.
Dr. David P. Forester has been setting the highest standards of excellence in dentistry for several years. A Fresno native, he graduated from Central High School before going to the University of California Davis to earn a bachelors degree in managerial economics. He then earned his dental degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, where he graduated with high honors, multiple clinical excellence awards and the ethics and professionalism award.
Dr. Forester has devoted himself to clinical excellence and education, which is why we has taken advanced training and education in several dental fields, including dental implants, CEREC technology, Invisalign, and cosmetic dentistry. He is also a member of the Spear Faculty Club, a group of dentists devoted to excellence in complex restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Forester is very active in community involvement, participating with local community groups and Christian medical missions. He has spent one week a year for the past six years in the Dominican Republic, providing needed dental care. He also serves multiple times each year in local dental missions and inner-city community outreach events. His biggest passions are his Christian faith and his family: his wife Alissa, daughter Sydney, and newly arrived son, Logan. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his family, staying involved with his church, outdoor activities, snowboarding, and watching Giants baseball games.
