As an orthodontist, I have the ability to change a persons life in a positive way. A straight smile is not just aesthetically pleasing, but it can also boost a persons self-confidence. I really feel that orthodontists are blessed, sincepatients come to usin most cases becausethey want to, not because they have to. Its great to be an orthodontist, as I genuinely enjoy helping my patients on their journey to achieving an awesome smile!
Dr. Supplies, a native of Berlin, Germany, graduated with honors from Mars Hill College, North Carolina with a Degree in Biology. During his college education, he received numerous academic awards and scholarships as a result of his continuous pursuit for academic excellence. He completed his dental training at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine.
In addition to graduating at the top of his class, Dr. Supplies received numerous awards while attending Boston University, including the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Award for clinical excellence in the field of dentistry, the Academy of Operative Dentistry Award, and was named to the Dean's List for academic excellence. He was also the recipient of the Boston University School of Dental Medicine Merit Scholarship and was a member of the National Dental Honor Society.
After graduating from Boston University in 1994, Dr. Supplies continued his studies in the dental specialty of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. During his two years of orthodontic training, he completed a research project studying the effect of frictional resistance during orthodontic tooth movement and compared the clinical efficiency of three commonly used orthodontic brackets. Dr. Supplies received his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Orthodontics from Boston University in September 1996.
Dr. Supplies and his wife, Dr. Margaret Supplies, a general dentist, reside in Carlisle, Massachusetts with their two sons, Soren and Bjorn, who are both avid soccer and lacrosse players. In addition to spending time with his family and friends, Dr. Supplies enjoys photography, cars, tennis, soccer, windsurfing, and traveling.

I have been a dental assistant since 1980, and joined Dr. Supplies office in 2009. I love seeing the end result of our patients years in treatmentthey are so excited to see their smiles and it is so rewarding! They appreciate their new smiles, and we appreciate the hard work they put into them. These years that I have been working here have been such a pleasure; not only do I get to work in a beautiful office, but I also get to work alongside people who truly complement each other. Its a wonderful place!
I am the mother of two grown sons, David and Thomas. I also have two cats named Sugar Plum and Genevive. My partner, Shaun, and I have a home in Maine where we retreat on weekends. While were there, I love going to the beach, kayaking, snowmobiling, and four-wheeling.
My experience in dentistry and orthodontics goes back more than 35 years, and I was proud to join Dr. Supplies and this team in 2002. Our office is full of people who are courteous and kind, and all respectful of each other and our patients. Weve created such a pleasant atmosphere, and our patients really enjoy coming here. We also want you to feel comfortable and confident throughout your entire orthodontic experience, and our practice is dedicated to making sure that you receive the quality care you deserve.
Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to the proper position.
Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can now choose clear or metal brackets and, in some cases, the color of your appliance. Wires are far less noticeable, and the latest materials are designed to move teeth faster with more comfort. Today, any age is a great age to wear braces!
Treatment time varies and can last between one and three years, depending on several factors including age, treatment method, and how minor or severe your case is. A big factor in a successful treatment is you! The more involved and diligent you are, the more efficient your treatment will be. For children, receiving interceptive or early treatment can also help provide a quicker treatment time.

Dr. Supplies walked me through the Invisalign process and took great care of me. His work is thorough and he truly wants what is best for his patients. I love my results. It was also an easy process to schedule or reschedule appointments. Dr. Supplies and his staff were very accommodating!

Dr. Supplies is fantastic. He treated both my children and was super patient and kind to both of them despite multiple broken brackets, wires etc. His office staff is amazing as well; always polite and helpful. I am 100% happy with the services he provided and would recommend him highly to anyone looking for an orthodontist.

Dr. Supplies is absolutely phenomenal! He did my braces over a decade ago, and I've been very happy with my teeth, thanks to his expertise and wonderful work. I recently visited Dr. Supplies for a new retainer. I was so impressed with the extremely fast turnaround time, and visiting the office was just as fun as I remembered. All of the staff are wonderful and very skilled at what they do. Everyone there creates a friendly and comfortable environment. Scheduling appointments was a smooth and easy process, and I appreciated receiving text reminders about my appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Supplies. My son had Dr. Supplies as his orthodontist and just got his braces off. We were extremely pleased with Dr. Supplies and his staff throughout the entire process. It was super easy (pay one fee up front and don't worry about pay as you go). His teeth were very troublesome but turned out fantastic. I could not be happier and would highly recommend Dr. Supplies.
